Especially if Banks ends up at Clemson. Garrett Riley didn't bring a position coach with him when he went there amd Dabo publicly has said Riley is running "the Clemson offense." (and he'd never worked with the OL coach, Matt Luke, they hired in December '23)

I read that Wes Goodwin may still be with Clemson as a analyst/off-field role next year, and they don't appear to be moving on from any of their other defensive coaches. Hard to credit that Banks wouldn't come here because Mario insisted he keep Taylor or someone else if he ends up at Clemson.

Guidry was very well thought of 2 years ago as a rising coach. He was absolutely due and going to get a P4 job. No question. I talk occasionally with someone in the business and he told me at the time he absolutely loved the Guidry hire, that he was very well thought of in the industry and people were very impressed with him.

I'm starting to think we're just cursed. Watch Jaden Harris go win the Thorpe Award next year.

Exactly it’s a dealbreaker for him to come here even if the money is good but @ Clemson it’s all good? Make it make sense I bet good money Clemson isn’t going to let him walk in & hire his own staff lol

Kuceyski was hired as Assistant QB Coach. With no limitations on on-field coaching numbers, he and Arbuckle are the two guys working with the QB, once again.

Arbuckle was not forced to retain a QB coach that was on the Oklahoma staff when he was hired.

And Arbuckle has brought in someone from his WSU staff to work with Mateer.

You want to focus on job titles (which are actually being used to justify salaries), that's on you. Arbuckle was hired and brought his QB coach from WSU to Oklahoma. Facts.

An assistant qb coach? Lol ok ...he's a senior analyst and he's being forced to retain every other coach. Thats really being allowed to hire your own staff 👌

We have heard not offered in the past when there was reported interest and the person was not hired... because if you offer, and the coach does not end up here -- then the thought is a whiff.. or being turned down.

Definitely saw it in one of the previous years.
