DB Jaden Harris enters the Portal

Nobody ever doubted 7s talent. He reminds me of DJ Ivey n that He looks physically impressive, has the size & build you'd want & has great speed according to hs track numbers..

But none of that has translated to the fb field. He's missing something between the ears. It remains to be seen if it's a coaching issue on our side tho. I'll say this will be an interesting saga to follow over the next couple seasons.
I agree with u for the most part.. I’m just confident that while he most def lacked a certain level of talent to be considered great/elite, the atrocious coaching he received here did him no favors, & it wasn’t just him EVERYBODY on that side of the ball looked terrible outside of maybe OJ and Barrow… u tellin me a decent defensive staff could not field a average/mediocre unit with all them 4star/5tar players we had on defense smh

The real story here

Is that UGA is using the Portal, on both sides of the ball.

UGA was supposed to be one of those examples of teams that strictly relied on their elite HS recruiting & didn't need to use the Portal. You know, one of those teams that a lot of our fans would want us to resemble...

Oh how the tides have turned.
UGA dealing with some issues they normally don’t deal with behind the scenes. Not saying this is causing Kirby to pivot in his strategy but it is interesting. If UGA doesn’t have a good season next year, it’s going to be really interesting.

Harris is trash. Open field 1 on 1, in the hole 1 on 1 , in coverage 1 on 1 he was cooked every time that ain’t got **** to do with Guidry; matter of fact you could say guidry was doing his job by putting him in position to make a play. The dude is just garbage.

I agree that while Guidry may have tried to put him in position, he still couldn't make the plays. Everybody gets beat but that Montrell Johnson run @UF was egregious, and by the end of the VT game it was clear that 7 was unplayable.

#15 might be super skinny but he made stops that came his way and was clearly the better player. Guidry has to bear full responsibility for continuing to play him at Safety when even Stevie Wonder could see that he had no business being back there. At best he could be in the box or slot but really shouldn't have been on the field.
