DAY 5 PRACTICE THREAD

What will everyone argue about in today's practice thread?
I'm going with what was in Kehoe's breakfast burrito this morning.
SMD reports the burrito contained egg, bacon, and cheese. Ferman posts story. Turns out to be sausage.

Tomorrow, Susan asks Al:

"Al, are you concerned that after it was reported yesterday that Art ate a egg, sausage, and cheese breakfast burrito his stool actually was found to have contained traces of ham and spinach?"

Al responds:

"Susan, I'm just not going to go there. Unless you heard that directly from the sports information office, I can't comment on reports like that. I have to respect the players and coaches rights to privacy, HIPAA rules, all that. What I can say is Art has been very well fed, and his BMs are legendary for their dinosauric proportions. Next question..."

If Golden wants to win big, he puts Kayaa in.if he wants to squeeze past wins he will play Heaps. We need Kayaa to play.

This make almost no sense and is based on... What? A week of practices?
Bruh watch the ******* films and figure it out. Coley knows he is clearly better. Golden wants Heaps because wanted to come here badly. I'm not saying we are going to lose.I'm saying we will by a bigger margin if we have a ice cold killer at qb. If Kayaa can push heaps to be that then I'm good.

You start the guy with 30 plus starts...it's a no brainer

If Kaaya beats out Heaps but it's close, meaning you'd feel comfortable starting either one Sept 1 but Kaaya is clearly the more talented guy, who starts?

Who should in that scenario? Kaaya, hands down.

If Heaps is chosen over Kaaya despite getting outplayed and not earning the job, then it would be clear the decision was predetermined based on seniority. And that would be a big part of the problem.

Yeah, the same guy that was ranked 127th out of 128th eligible QB's last year from an efficiency standpoint.

You start the stud freshman if he's anywhere close to matching Heaps. No brainer.

You start the guy you think leaves Louisville with the win.... Louisville, not Nebraska, not FSU, not ND two years from now. Louisville.

Did you watch his games last year? How great that Kansas team was last year? How about those awesome wr's, TE's, and rb's from that team. Yep, Golden and Coley have no idea what they are doing.

Toretta at Doak 1989...destroyed
Dorsey at VT 1999....destroyed

True Frosh, on the road, night game. I'll take the veteran

Thanks umfire for the insight. Excited about Malcolm being healthy and some other things you mentioned in there.

As for Kaaya. I still expect Kaaya to win this job.

This make almost no sense and is based on... What? A week of practices?

It makes no sense at all. Aren't both wins?

Zero sense. Based on absolutely nothing but a man crush on potential. (The other guy had a lot of potential out of high school too......shhhh)
I swear some of y'all don't have no sense. Kayaa is a better QB. I don't have no ******* man crush. Who ever they choose I could careless. we still going to win this year. I want to kill people this year though I'm tired of squeezing by and Kayaa gives us that opportunity. I put if Heaps transferred on at FSU and Winston was a freshman but was way better. No way in he'll jumbo play Heaps. Wake the **** up!

Not true. You do care. In nearly every thread you comment on Golden playing the older player. I actually want to beat Louisville and I don't care which quarterback does it or who our head coach is. We are less than one full week into camp and you are proclaiming Kaaya as the better quarterback based on high school footage and vine clips.

Kaaya is likely to be the better player over time, but we play Louisville first and that is the game that matters first.

Does Olsen announce his formal quitting of the team on the same day Al narrows the race officially to Kaaya and Heaps?

Hasn't Kaaya been the one studying the playbook for the past few months? Seems to me he's the one who got a head start on Heaps and not the other way around. This "experience" narrative falls a distant second to skill and ability.
