Golden said he's challenging Kaaya to be more of a vocal leader. Wants Rosier & Olsen to be the same. Heaps, Williams are there already.

That's gonna be Golden's excuse on why Kaaya won't start.

The fix is in guys.

You think Golden prefers to lose?

I do not, but he has shown that he sticks with the older guy. And I would venture to say, to a fault even. I felt like SM should have gotten a look late in Jh12's tenure and RW definitely should have gotten some reps last year, especially when SM was hurt, and even more so later in the season when he was completely looking like crap. I am a huge Golden supporter, but this is one thing that I do not like about him.

A coach wants his quarterback to be a vocal leader commanding the team?

Telling Kaaya what he expects is hardly making an excuse.

Everyday this board does a great job of reinforcing the horrors of mental illness.

Wyche is wayyyyy to high. he stood straight up. he needs to keep a lower pad level or he will never get there. hes strong as **** so they cant move him.

i'm just happy that we can say that about one of our defensive tackles.

It's starting to feel like it doesn't matter what kaaya is going to do for the rest of practice, golden is going to go with heaps....

Yup. If this is Saban or a legitimate championship coach, Kaaya starts. Fat Albert strikes again. I mean think about it, a fifth year senior is running neck and neck with a true freshman. That should tell you all you need to know about the lack of skill of the 5th year senior. Heaps is a Kansas reject...effin Kansas?!?!? 2-10 Kansas!!!!

Both Coley and Golden said they were going to rotate the QBs with the first team during week one. That's what we've seen so far. I'm a big Kaaya fan, but do you really think both Coley and Golden have made their conclusions after four practices - and they're not on the same page? You don't name a freshman as starter after few days in shorts and helmets. Let's see what develops.

no but you can tell by the way golden talked about heaps through the media yesterday with his above average performance from thursdays practice. H
Through the first three days, coach Al Golden said Heaps has been a “pleasure to work with.”
“Just a complete understanding, poise, experience, very coachable, not an error-repeater,” Golden said. “Anything you correct, he gets fixed.
“Glad he’s here. Mature, grateful, and doing a great job trying to bring it all together for us.”

Today kaaya went out and put on a show showing everything that you would want from a Senior qb such as looking off cbs, capitalizing on offsides by the defense, and having pinpoint accuracy for the most part. No turnovers and handled pressure well by throwing it away or finding the right guy to dump it off too.
here is what golden said,
“Just do what he’s doing. Command of the huddle. Continue to be more vocal. I think that’s the one thing Jake Heaps is right now. He’s vocal. He’s not afraid to get into, get after other guys and communicate and be loud. Yet heaps threw 2 picks on the day and almost threw two more that should have been interceptions. Also had some fumble exchanges with running back and out of shotgun and was sacked a couple of times. When pressured he made horrible decisions. I dont see what golden is seeing in heaps right now that brad cant do better. He is louder? dont give me that sh*t. Who puts us in the best situation to win games... kaaya should start especially since he has clearly outperformed heaps throughout this week. I hope kaaya forces golden's hand through his play in scrimmages....

I know Coley wants Kayaa but golden wants Heaps. Kayaa is Coley guy, he didn't want Heaps at all that's Goldens doing because he was scared.

You know this because...,you are on the staff? You are Coley's best friend and confidant?

Or are you just speaking out of your ***?

A lot of you guys dont remember how good Jacory looked early on. He was a Heisman contender for a few weeks in '09.

Threw the most incredible pass I've ever seen from a Miami quarterback.

You talking about the bomb on the run to Benjamin late in the game at FSU in 09? The one where he did the Ric Flair walk afterward. That was a ridiculously incredible throw. I remember Todd Blackledge's comment was "Oh wow". I thought we had a stud at that point. Posters on one site were calling him Black Brady after that game.

Yes. I remember watching it and saying that's not possible. Given the circumstances and margin of error, I can't think of a more incredible pass.

I'm pretty sure your a passive viewer. I'm more of an analytical viewer. I can read into to things. You may not have that ability. Everybody different.

At the CB spot, I've seen mostly Tracy and Antonio mentioned; what's the word on Gunter? He back to or close to 100%?

lmao hilarious. Your "analytical view" comes off as a sure thing which is not. A lot of what you say sounds like straight up garbage *** BS.

When has the better QB in camp not started the season opener since Golden took over? Jacory didn't due to suspension, but started the rest of the season and played well. Morris the last two years. I don't believe Heaps or Kaaya would be a bad move right now.
