He's not an elite college OC. An elite college OC can recruit, evaluate, and improve the culture. A well-rounder hire. He's an excellent play-caller and scheme guy. But again, Mullen is cancer. Everyone says he belongs in the NFL where he won't have to recruit, but I think his personality won't help him much there. Mario would not put up with his goofy crap for a second. He'd end up stuffed in a locker here.

Cmon is not having an open mind. You trash 2 OC that put up over 480 and the other over 500 yards a game why? Because they are not big names? Just because we have 4 mil for coordinators doesn’t mean Anae and Sowder aren’t good options. Ruggiero from Wake put up points and runs a good system but we shouldn’t look at him because he is at Wake? The only one I agree with you on is Ponce l. Are you on the Brady or bust bandwagon? Who are your top choices besides Brady and Briles. That article was to give names to look at and most of them put up points and had explosive offense.

He would be good as NFL OC heck my Giants can use a good one. There they don’t care if you are weird as *** as long as u get the job done and don’t have scandals or skeletons in the closet.

Herman is collecting 6.5 mil and I would not expect him back in college ball until that Texas money runs out. He is chilling as an analyst in NFL.
 
Gotta love this posts what a terrible list, horrifying but yet they don’t say who they would have on Their list. Please don’t say Herman or Kellen Moore they are not coming here one is a demotion and the other is collecting almost 7 mil right now and liking his NFL gig. So who you got on your list of you think those other 10 names are trash besides Briles and Brady?

Can’t believe I’m putting this on a public board, AND NOT FOR US NOW, but I’m excited to see what Likens can do if he ever gets an OC gig. He’s a really smart and good guy. He’s got a good football mind. I know it’s a role he will one day get and I for one am a fan. Kids really like and trust him. One day he might be in a thread like this as a “Miami guy”. fwiw

Uncle Luke only approved of two of them. I'm not sure what Gattis and Martin had that the others didn't but to each his own.
