You would rather have a person with UM ties bashing the program at every possible opportunity over somebody with no ties?
 
LOL. No but if I live in Miami I would like the local radio guys to talk UM football and know something about it rather then talking the Dolphins, the Heat or Marlins 24/7. I know its a Pro town but like I said at least he talked UM football and interviewed former UM guys, etc..NOBODY else does that. And if they do its very sparingly or only if we are good. During ND week we got alot of love from all the local stations. After we got our a$$ kicked it was back to status quo. JMO.

When it comes to local radio and UM football, nobody was/is better then Irvin. Really miss the guy. Sedano better have some **** up his sleeve come football season unless he's gonna go with Crowder-Portis-Himself for the afternoon slot. Gino was good but was in a bad slot. Koop and Goldie don't know UM football well enough. Kevin Rogers is a hockey guy. SMH. ****.

Lol @ Franchise. I got thick skin, bro. You got to grownin up down here. Maybe my wording was wrong. I just want a quality radio guy who is as passionate about UM football as we are on this board. Right now we have zero locally. So when I turn the radio on I want to hear at least one radio guy talk UM football whether it be good or bad. Sileo was an idiot with trying to wage war against Al and Donna and that was his downfall. His approach was to be Sid Rosenberg but it blew up in his face because he doesnt have Sid's industry cred. Interested to see who they are going to hire to fill that UM football void.
 
I would like to see Dave LaMont get a look. Pair him with an old local legend and give them a try. I am tired of re-treads in the local sports scene. Give Jason Jackson, Jim Berry, and Dave LaMont a few hours a day and see what they can do.
