How does this Dallas Wilson situation have anything to do with Miami's situation?Could the last couple of months being going any worse for Miami?

I dont know .... maybe b/c we recruited him heavily and lost another battle with UF this cycle. How is this Dallas Wilson situation have anything to do with Miami's situation?
This is more of a loss for Oregon. Number 1 team in the nation, favorites to win the CFB playoffs, big-time Nike money flooding players' accounts, and broke *** UF stole a 5* WR out of the blue.I dont know .... maybe b/c we recruited him heavily and lost another battle with UF this cycle.
Probably would have to pay him so no upsideIf I’m Oregon I’m sitting on kid ur not doing all this and getting off free
but lanning doesnt take an L here if he leaves? if he leaves Oregon its because Brown's dad is his agent and Mario got stuffed in a locker.I dont know .... maybe b/c we recruited him heavily and lost another battle with UF this cycle.

So Mario did not recruit him all season because i remember it differently do you. He begged the kid all season to visit and never showed interest, our recruiting coordinator, I mean HC sucks at recruiting. This is more of a loss for Oregon. Miami didn't lose Wilson to UF. Wilson had been committed to Oregon for over a year.
This looks bad for Oregon, and this could conceivably blow up in UF's face as one of the posters commented on earlier in this thread.

Good thing it’s not something he is known for, he is known for x and os
Always take the 5 star but what is Billy doing? Why wouldn’t you put that $ which I’m assuming is very large to take from Oregon who is paying through the nose across the board and buy a portal WR instead?
Other question is this.
Let's say Wilson (.9859 rating) is to get $1.7M from the Gators.
Let's use some other hypothetical numbers:
Incoming freshmen
Retained players:
- Vernell Brown III (.9757 rating): $1.0M
- Naeshaun Montgomery (.9294 rating): $0.7M
- Muizz Tounkara (.8739 rating) : $0.4M
And let's say players in the position room begin to compare numbers. Wilson's "salary" clearly outweighs Vernell Brown and Naeshaun Montgomery. It's also well above the three four star returning wide receivers on the Gators roster.
- Elijhah Badger (.9364 rating): $.0.7M
- Marcus Burke: (.9245 rating) $.0.7M
- TJ Abrams: (.9025 rating): $0.5M
This creates either pressure from one or more of the other players to get their salaries increased. And since resources are finite, that's less money to use for other position groups.
Conversely, if Florida does not raise up the salaries of some of the other wide receivers, we could see some of these players enter the spring transfer portal.
Did I mention Oregon at all? You're moving the goalposts. This is more of a loss for Oregon. Number 1 team in the nation, favorites to win the CFB playoffs, big-time Nike money flooding players' accounts, and broke *** UF stole a 5* WR out of the blue.
