I think back then you were spot on but now with the NIL era, IDK as much. Granted they may just be one of the numerous high 4*s that never pans out and thats why they leave but I think the Bama/UGA taking as many players as they have recently have to equal out to people leaving.

the 2024 class UGA took 40 players, Bama 43, Oregon 41, I mean that is basically 1/2 or 50% of your entire scholarship allocation in one class. Someone gotta leave, or someone is going to want to leave for more $.
