If you go by college usage/production vs NFL production, it's probably Gus Edwards.

Played here 3 seasons, had a TOTAL of 186 carries.

He had 184 in his one season at Rutgers, and has now been in the NFL for 7 seasons (only played in 6 after blowing out his knee and missing all of 2021), and has 30 TDs with 4 seasons of 700+ yards.

He averaged 5.0+ per carry in each of his first 4 years.

I keep seeing "Hester" over and over again.

How he was used in NFL might be an indicator that maybe he was used properly...
