DAILY DEBATE: Who has earned more playing time through two games?

How did Ajay Allen get buried on the depth chart? All the talk of him having an amazing spring and breaking long runs. He cant find the field now. Strange hes getting no burn at all.
He was hurt during spring so where did you hear that?

Over who? Its so hard to see on tv who is doing what at DT.

I don’t know what they are being asked to do.

Maybe @DMoney can chime in on what he is hearing regarding DT play.
The starters so far has been barrow and messidor. I don’t see him starting over either. Folks are just overreacting to famu. I would like to see them get some time vs better comp to better see where they are at

Feels like the staff has been wanting someone to step up at a few spots for a while. I don’t think they are infallible but so far the back ups have been back ups for a reason. Fans get real quiet when the dudes they keep asking for get on the field and look even worse

So I’m sure they trust Richard but I’m positive the conversations behind closed doors are we need someone to take the spot
I 100% believe they were waiting to see if Damari could take the next step. And they went out and got Hill for a reason. He was banged up at the end of camp and as he starts getting healthier, his snaps will increase.

Then you have a true freshman in OJ earning a starting nod. And getting significant playing time vs UF (week 1 nonetheless).

I think Richard is not good enough to start or get significant PT at UM. He should go to the PAC-2 or G5.

I think Lyle.

And I think you go with the 3 headed monster. Martinez with 15-20 carries, Fletcher 10-15, and Lyle 5-10. With the way Mario likes to run the ball I think you need two bruisers to make it through the season and then you sprinkle in Lyle for the change of pace.

OJ & Lyle are a given.

Get Popo & Pruitt all the snaps you can.

The younger DT's when able.

Zay/Trader/Carr as they develop.

That's a tought question but who has earned LESS playing time is Brown the WR. He looks very pedestrian out there

He's a proven 800+ yard receiver. He just needs to get comfortable, see the ball go in a few times. I still think he's more talented than anyone else on the roster at this point.

I'd like to see him used a bit differently than what we've seen so far. His tape flashed tremendous potential on shallow and intermediate drag/crossing patterns. Or, maybe he's nicked up or mental. Too early to say.

Board really turned on Fletcher fast
Not all of us. There is a reason UM gives the ball to Flectcher in goal line situations. There is something special about a guy who can run over someone, go under the pile, and finally jump over the pile when you need a yard or a TD.

Agree, get the ball to him early and let him stride
