DAILY DEBATE: Which state/region should Miami recruit harder?

Georgia and Texas are the obvious ones. But an underrated spot is the Triad/Charlotte/Western NC. There’s some really good guys coming out every year. It’s an uphill battle fighting Clemson/Tenn/UGA, but the guys are usually worth it.

There’s one 5 star and six 4 stars alone in Greensboro and west of it this year. And I believe the same amount last year.

What Championship has Oregon, Tennessee, USC, UF & Colorado won recently?

And that was just the top 35 from last year, if you actually go through the entire state there were a lot more who committed to other schools outside of Texas. The same with the 22 & 23 class.

Currently right now, for the 25 class the majority of the top 10 kids in Texas will likely not be committed to an in-state school by the time ENSD comes around.

As I've said & been saying for the longest, it's a matter of effort. All we have to do is put the same effort we put into recruiting Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia etc into Texas & it will absolutely bare results.
Colorado has Deion Sanders who has resided in tx the last twenty years...matter of fact the kid he got was one we wasted resources recruiting.

Florida paid i dont know what for their 1 guy the qb. The states deficit will fel the results of it

Aint like we dont offer Texas kids every **** year and like i said...it amounts to NOTHING majority of the time.

A **** haitian kid from Texas didnt even give us play.

Yea im not in agreement of putting that effort...those 3 states you stated have given results. Put the effort to where your getting play at...continue to give out the offers but...**** taken away from bama, louisiana , and ga we need to spend more money those places lol

The jits now are saying Love who loves you...every class we offer texas kids. If they getting their play in the boot, bama, ga and in chi town i aint gonna stop em..Go on playa. (Mario)

UF signed 3 TX kids in their 22 class, 2 in their 24 class & have a RB from TX in their 25 class right now. Same with FSU, they sign TX kids all the time.

Michigan & Michigan ST has multiple TX kids on their roster. Oregon since hiring Lanning has been absolutely rooted in TX.

Not recruiting the state is just flat out stupid.

Grimsley was loaded

I love the effort the staff has made with Georgia, Louisiana, and Alabama. Wanna see more work done in Metro Dallas, Houston, the DMV, and Jersey. Still meat on the bone in those areas although I wouldn't expect we pull tons of volume but I bet we can get a couple every cycle if we focused on it. Arizona also has some solid qb prospects too.

None. Just identify the areas of roster need and get the best players to fill it.

All recruiting is global now.

According to the NFL Draft, Georgia, Texas, California, Louisiana and New Jersey.

We've been recruiting GA hard since Richt with minimal results. Those kids sold their souls to the SEC.

Texas seems wide open & their kids go anywhere. I'm a major proponent of recruiting the state.

California produces a lot of prospects but god**** they got a lot of busts. They produce a lot of soft *** divas & the underrated dawgs are hard to find because California public schools are weak at football

We've been recruiting Jersey my whole life to mostly good results. Louisiana has dawgs but they seem to bleed purple and gold, and if not LSU they love the SEC. I'm surprised we held on to Antoine in this class.
