It wont be mentioned...NO....Would be an extreme waste of funds.Since it hasn’t been mentioned yet.
Utah. A lot of migration there, in particular a lot of Poly/Samoa families. The state’s population is projected to double (3.4m to 7m) by 2050.
And probably just as important the Mormon church supports youth and college sports.
Will sound like a joking, but I'm not.
It doesn't stop other schools from coming into Florida. Miami, UF, and FSU are all big time football programs.I see a lot of Texas and the “why” behind is obvious. I just think we’re fighting too much of an uphill battle there. Too many teams are dumping money for those boys to stay home. UT is back, OU will always be there, SMU is going to be national again and they spend, TTU are going to rise and maybe start to run the Big 12, too many moving parts.
That’s only 3 programs. You have about 8 in Texas that are legitimate programs. UT, OU, Baylor, TCU, TTU, A&M, SMU, and Houston all battle each other and can pay with anybody. Can’t say the same with Florida. It doesn't stop other schools from coming into Florida. Miami, UF, and FSU are all big time football programs.
You have a point. I don't really consider SMU, Houston, TTU, or even TCU on UT or A&M level. If Miami gets good again, I think we could pull some kids out of TX. FLORIDA kids would go to antartica to play football...the texas kids not so much...especiallyt heir elite kids.It doesn't stop other schools from coming into Florida. Miami, UF, and FSU are all big time football programs.
If im recruiting texas i pretty much would just look to Dallas and small amount of resources in the houston area. But i'd go dallas. You have a point. Butch (Pagano & Curtis Johnson) were killing those áreas outside the Championship yrs.Texas and Louisiana. We actually are recruiting those places. Just that we had much more success in our championship years.
Yes, Dallas and Houston. A lot of good football players in those areas. In the age of NIL, some will leave the state. I guess a lot has to do with the coaches on staff and the relationships they have in a given state/areaIf im recruiting texas i pretty much would just look to Dallas and small amount of resources in the houston area. But i'd go dallas.
Me personally i would rather use those fnds in Louisiana though ...id go New Orleans and im happy that we are focusing in Louisiana...now we need to push to New ORLEANS AND THE WEST BANK
we got a Lake Charles, Baton Rouge and a New Iberia kid in the last 3 classes.
I came here to post something i saw on twitter like this but since you already did..From the 24 Class:

6 of the top 10 in the 25 class are currently committed to non Texas schools. I went back further for the 23 & 22 classes as well in this thread

But the idea that Texas kids aren't or won't leave Texas is a myth. They're doing it every year & have so more increasingly as of late in this NIL era.
It really shouldn't matter where the talent comes from, but not recruiting a region that produces as much talent as Texas does is the same thing as not recruiting Florida if you're a non-FL school, it's dumb.
Playoff & Championship programs recruit everywhere.
Miami isnt on al ist because we dont recruit there.I see a lot of people saying DMV. Excellent concentration of talent, highly competitive recruiting area.
I'd advise to cherry pick but not over-prioritise. Miami is far down the list.
Yeah. Polynesian families move to Utah specifically to live in Mormon communities. Nobody is moving to Miami if life being in a Mormon community is a big deal for them.It wont be mentioned...NO....Would be an extreme waste of funds.
That what u posted likely bodes well for BYU and the Utes.
We probably go after 1 kid every 3 classes with an under 15percent chance of landing them
on this list posted above....we recruited /offered a bunch of em and didnt even get to second base or finger popped any of em...so we have that going for us as well. From the 24 Class:

What Championship has Oregon, Tennessee, USC, UF & Colorado won recently?on this list posted above....we recruited /offered a bunch of em and didnt even get to second base or finger popped any of em...so we have that going for us as well.
We could hone in on a guy or two which we seem to offer a few every year but it isnt coming to fruition.
The one outlier i see on the list is vandy. Everyone else is a neighboring state or won a championship recently.
We could reset after becoming a perennial 10 win team.
