DAILY DEBATE: Does Cam McCormick have a role on this offense?

If nothing else, I hope he works his a** off in practice and helps others get better. Dude is still a Cane, so I'm hoping he has a great year whatever that looks like.

I honestly felt Williams looked better as a blocker by the end of the season so short of special teams I feel like he’s getting passed by.

Should be limited situations (3rd and1 type plays) as a run blocking TE. Goal line situations also.

Bro, he killed us with missed blocks in short yardage. If he has to play, then put him in on 1st and 10 so you still have two more chances to recover. Best case scenario, his motorized scooter has a full battery and he can catch a 3 yard pass and turn it into a 15 yarder.

I guarantee McCormick could make a zillion NIL dollars as the spokesman for this

What if I told you, that after all these years of innovation and schemes, you still will have to be able to run down the ball “down their throats” when they know its coming? Thats how you finish teams.

Not saying Cam is integral and should be heavily involved. But in all my vast years of watching this game, the simple fact of the matter is, at some point a winning team has to be able to control the LOS and run the ball successfully even when teams know its coming.

And you don’t have to blow them off the line of scrimmage either, but be in position and hold your ground while taking on a defender.
Do you think McCormack did that for Miami a year ago? What if I told you QB wedge seems to get the job done extra TE or not?

Role on the team? Sure...we can never have enough mango runners
But if we see him on the field with any consistency something has gone seriously wrong

@DMoney hopefully respectfully his role is on the bench getting in if we blowout an opponent. He should be a low percentage of offensive snaps player.

I can see it now... First and goal at the 1. Ward fakes the hand-off, nobody bothers covering McCormick, so he's wide open.. and he drops the touchdown.

No he's old and wise. He waves Ward in while running to barely get in the way of a would be shoe string tracker.

I feel like @DMoney is throwing out these controversial threads for some views and posts and then he disappears. If he wants to generate some more clickbait, his next daily debate should be whether Joy Taylor is hot. 90+ pages guaranteed. The advertisers will love it.

I chimed in the Roscoe thread, but I have to keep myself from getting caught up sometimes or I’ll lose a whole afternoon looking up stats.
