I like this kid. Don’t see what there isn’t to like. After Jacolby you would think our fans would have learned. This kid can play.

I think he could shine at the safety position considering his style of play. At worst, he's a high end special-teamer for us that could also get rotational snaps on the defense.

Exactly! Kid is knocking heads off. I like him better than some of our commits.

I'd put that top 8 up against all but maybe 5-6 classes...And why should we recruit like any better than somewhere in the 6-10 range when we haven't won in 15 years?

Agree 100%. We have a very good class so far. I think we need 2 more OL, one more rb, and another lb (Hyppolite please), but the complaints are laughable (especially given we've basically when irrelevant for most of the past 16 years).

Per Canesport, he doesn’t have an offer but is in frequent communication with the coaches. He would love to be part of the class, but the coaches are telling him they need to see out the DB situation works out with this years class.
 
Hate how we can’t land a god **** elite CB for Rumph to coach into a 1st rounder. Like if Stevenson stayed home last year Rumph would coach him up into an elite Corner
 


Daemon Hill Senior tape; finished his season with 39tcks & 5INT's

My initial opinion of him was I didn't feel he was a take at CB but I liked him at Safety/Striker.

That was based off his Junior highlights, after watching his Senior tape I like him even more now.

I still don't think he's a CB at the next level in our scheme, he's a S/S all the way imo, his hips don't have the fluidity you'd want in a natural corner but he can move, he's not slow looks in the 4.5/6ish range, has good instincts & ball skills.

He's physical with his upper body & showed in Press man that he can re route the WR which is good, but his footwork just isn't there yet & lacks the natural recovery speed you need at CB.

He's a very good physical tackler, he can definitely come up & put a hat on somebody & stick, I like that in his game.

I'm not sure if the staff is still interested in him, but I wouldn't have an issue with him being in this class, I think you could get him in the S&C program & bulk him to the 200+lbs range due to his frame being a legit 6'0 & let him be a Safety. Even if we get Jalen Harrell I would still add this kid in this class just for depth.

In fact I would drop Washington & replace him with Hill, just my opinion though.
