Couple Updates

Ran for 2600yds and 39 TDs this past season.

Don't see why you'd put him anywhere other than at RB

Sean Taylor was a great RB in HS, and it worked out pretty good to put him at S.

I think it would be safe to say that Sean's move to safety also was because of a somewhat congested backfield. There were some decent players playing running back for Miami at the time.

My point was in response to someone asking why we'd move someone who was good at a position in HS. The answer is obvious.

That said, Taylor was the best athlete i've ever seen on a football field. I don't doubt he could have been a great RB.

I like this Elder kid at RB, we don't need him to touch the ball a lot, but 5-10 carries a game could give duke some rest and give defenses another RB to worry about going the distance.

How many guys on our roster can you legitimately look at and think "every time he touches the ball he could score" ?

Duke.

Now adding guys like Coley and this kid and you have some potential home run hitters out there with maybe Dorset joining the fold as well. Fingers crossed.

Goes great with Gus, too.

Don't forget Herb.

I like Waters, but I don't think he has the ability to score everytime he touches the ball.

He doesnt mean literally mane. He just means there is a possibility with some players that because of their expressiveness and big play ability, that there is a chance to score everytime he touches the ball.

So whenever Reggie Bush got the ball at USC you didnt have a feeling that something exciting could happen every play?

Yeah man, like how you hold your breath every time Duke gets the ball. Sort of like Barner or Deanthony Thomas, or Tavon Austin. That type of ****.

Before people get ahead of themselves I'm not calling this kid one of those guys yet. I go back to when we lost out on Whitfield at first and it's been a little bit odd how we have had a lack of guys with explosion in space. With our recruiting grounds we haven't seen too many Roscoe Parrish types here lately and you would think we wouldnt have too much trouble.
