Tears Colorado Tears

Now the question is how good could he have been at either position if he wasn't trying to do both.
Not good enough to be a top 5 pick if he only stuck to either position. I think he’s a top 10 pick as a CB and a back half of the first round WR.

Why? Just compare the rosters and the players who will have 4 or more seasons into college football at the end of the season.

Miami will have 24 with 4 or more years. Colorado has 31.

Wide Receiver:
  • Miami: 3 out of 9
  • Colorado: 3 out of 10
Tight End:
  • Miami: 2 out of 5
  • Colorado: 2 out of 3
Running Back:
  • Miami: 0 out of 6
  • Colorado: 1 out of 3
Offensive Line:
  • Miami: 4 out of 15
  • Colorado: 5 out of 12
Quarterback:
  • Miami: 2 out of 4
  • Colorado: 1 out of 4
Defensive Tackle:
  • Miami: 3 out of 10
  • Colorado: 9 out of 12
Defensive End:
  • Miami: 3 out of 9
  • Colorado: 3 out of 7
Linebacker:
  • Miami: 3 out of 8
  • Colorado: 2 out of 7
Safety:
  • Miami: 2 out of 7
  • Colorado: 5 out of 5
Cornerback:
  • Miami: 1 out of 8
  • Colorado: 0 out of 5
Special Teams:
  • Miami: 1 out of 3
  • Colorado: 2 out of 3
Miami's returning players will less than 4 years next season have an avg composite of .9055
Colorado's returning players with less than 4 years next season have an avg composite of .8775
TLDR Answer: Cam Ward is leaving.

I believe that his future lies on the defensive side of the football. Bigly.

Not as difficult a time as Mario is going to have repeating his. 👀
It would be hard to repeat

That is true, but Cam Ward is also not the only person worth a **** on the O either. CU's offense is basically Shadeur, Travis and two young OL that may not be there next year, especially if Deion leaves. It's not an accident that Miami has consistently outrecruited CU, and as we've said time and time again, it's an unproven strategy to believe that the portal will be good to you year in and year out.

I guess we will see how that strategy works when we need to replace a dozen or so players through the portal.

Considering that Deion has needed to replace half of his 85 scholarship guys through the portal year in and year out, it's a lot less likely things go wrong when you need a quarter as many bodies. I'm curious, is Deion paying your mortgage? I've never seen someone hold on for dear life to a grown man's jock like you do for Deion.

He took over a team with 1 win and got to 8 and has two of the most exciting players in the country, but y’all still hate the entire state because of Deion living in your head.
The turnaround is impressive, but will he stick with it once Travis and his son leave for the draft? I know he just got that 5 star to commit but I’m sure that kid would follow Deion anywhere
