If this was a 40 time :eekeyes:
1) Phillip Dorsett @Dorsett_4
@darealHassan I ran 4.19 and 4.27
Who was manning the stopwatch, his mum?

Pretty sure both of these guys are in the top 6 athletes on the team already. Turning that into production will be a mental thing for both.
For Burns it will be the ability to process information, though my hope is some of that is reduced by playing the Nickel "roamer" position where he's used closer to the line of scrimmage and to chase plays.
For Coley, my complete speculation is that it will be mental in that he has to stay focused and patient (because of the depth chart opportunities). Basically, he'll get a small window and has to convert. Lockhart got a tiny window last year and, for multiple reasons, couldn't turn that into anything. Hopefully, Morris' touch has improved because a guy like Coley could find a spot as a Red Zone target. We need one.
it would be a disservice to your team if your coaches asked these guys to process too much. not saying that is what you're saying, but that's what i took from your posts.
one of the things i liked about meyer is that with really talented young guys he just lets them play. i recall a story of him talking about janoris jenkins where he played man all year except a handful of snaps, he didn't want to overload him with anything just let him use his athleticism and cover. same with guys offensively, get them in space and get them the rock. burns and coley are those type of players, just let them do their thing and don't 'overcoach.'
Anybody Else see Coley absolutely TOAST Tracey Howard after slipping? WOW I didn't realize what a freaking stud he is. You can't jam him, he has crazy get off and insane burst in and out of his cuts for his size

Yeap. Clearly, Deon and Tracy and cover just about anyone EXCEPT Coley.

Yeap, Meyer let them do their own thing in every way possible: robbery, drugs, assault, rape, pillage, plunder --- Took his coaching style from Attila. Our old Canes embarrassed college football by beating the crap out of grown me on their own fields so badly that new rules were made up to protect those little boys. Meyer just let criminals have get out of jail free cards. Please do not validated it by pretending it was some sort of coaching decision--he is a little girl and was terrified of those criminals you called football players once Tebow wasn't there to protect him.

I was thinkin of making a separate thread for this, but I'll just ask it here. Out of T Howard and Artie out of high school, who are you takin first? I know Tracy was the #1 CB in his class, but I'm taking Artie by a considerable margin. What say you?
/glad we have both
Burns.

Swasey is usually pretty accurate though. I remember we would hear some of his times in the past and fans would go "yeah right" but then the kid would post nearly the same time at the NFL combine. Mike James, Javaris James, Colin McCarthy, DVD were some of the kids that come to mind.

Yep. Olsen, too.
Dorsett is going to go to the combine and run one of the five fastest times. He flies. Just because he's not a wizard with the ball in his hands doesn't mean he can't run.

Wut?
Watch the SFE try out video again. Deon stays step for step with Coley and tips the ball. Coley got lucky it was a bad tip and fell in his hands.
