I guarantee you our defense is just as bad next year.
I guarantee you that you will be right.

He just basically told y'all we didn't have the talent on defense to do what he wanted to do.

That might have been a valid excuse in 2011. But this was 2013, his third year on the job. I fault Folden for not recruiting the talent he needs.

he was going to turn over the roster in 2 classes? so we should have been beasts with freshman and sophomores? laughable that you actually think that. though not surprising. He just basically told y'all we didn't have the talent on defense to do what he wanted to do.

Yet again, you misunderstand the argument. What a shocker.he was going to turn over the roster in 2 classes? so we should have been beasts with freshman and sophomores? laughable that you actually think that. though not surprising. He just basically told y'all we didn't have the talent on defense to do what he wanted to do.

What a piece of ****. Throwing the offense under the bus, yet again, to save his best friend.

no one misunderstands any of these simpleton arguments that lack perspective.. he's saying he's had 3 years on the job and he should have recruited better players.. he's only had 2, now 3 "real" classes.. so that means that his first real class were sophomores last year, and his second, were freshman... now, if we're supposed to be good, then that means we should be good with the freshmen and sophomores.. it's simple logic, really.

Ok...but was he right? How bad was our 3rd down Offense last year?? You can mother **** him all you want, but he was right. In retrospect the D bailed the O out as well.

How bad was our 3rd down defense? The defense couldn't get themselves off the field. Why didn't he mention that?
In retrospect, the D never bailed out the O. If they did, we wouldn't have given up 40+ points and 500 yards for the last 5 games in our schedule (i.e. the meat of the schedule, not the cupcakes)

do you guys believe Williams will be much more efficient on 3rd down than Morris was?

I thought a ridiculous performance by Crawford and his game-winning drive won that game...What a piece of ****. Throwing the offense under the bus, yet again, to save his best friend.

The North Carolina game? Problem is the we had issues on both sides of the ball. D couldnt get off the field at times and O would get out there and go 3 and out and put them right back out there..
semantics.. good, beasts whatever.. it's not bound to happen when your most talented guys are freshman and sophomores..Yet again, you misunderstand the argument. Who has ever claimed that we should have been "beasts"
This. How many times did the defense give the offense good field position to work with? Rarely. No one is saying the offense didn't have its problems, but that fat **** keeps mentioning the offense and not the defense. His defenses suck and this coming season will prove it. His bull**** about being more aggressive is laughable because even when they tried to be more aggressive they fell flat on their face cause they can't disguise a blitz worth a ****.What a piece of ****.
