My expectations are off kilter to say the least. Honestly if we win the coastal with this staff I would be ecstatic but in year 4 Golden's gotta get it done.

I want to get it done, I want more but with this staff and team I don't expect it to happen in 2014.

Agreed. That is essentially why I am hoping Olsen wins the starting QB job. I have relatively low expectations for this team next year. Might as well see if Olsen is the real deal.

That might have been a valid excuse in 2011. But this was 2013, his third year on the job. I fault Folden for not recruiting the talent he needs.

he was going to turn over the roster in 2 classes? so we should have been beasts with freshman and sophomores? laughable that you actually think that. though not surprising.

no one misunderstands any of these simpleton arguments that lack perspective.. he's saying he's had 3 years on the job and he should have recruited better players.. he's only had 2, now 3 "real" classes.. so that means that his first real class were sophomores last year, and his second, were freshman... now, if we're supposed to be good, then that means we should be good with the freshmen and sophomores.. it's simple logic, really.

Like it or not golden has had 3 classes. Do you not include chick, Dorsett and others as part of this line up?

In four years Golden should have the personnel in place to win the weak ******* ACC.

We all know that he doesn't and that's the problem. I don't think any of expect him to win the ACC, but in four years he should be winning the ACC. It shouldn't take more than 4 years to build an ACCCG caliber team at Miami.

We all know that he doesn't and that's the problem. I don't think any of expect him to win the ACC, but in four years he should be winning the ACC. It shouldn't take more than 4 years to build an ACCCG caliber team at Miami.

At the very least, it shouldn't take more than 4 years to win the Coastal. FSU and maybe Clemson are the only teams in the ACC that really "out-talents" us right now, despite what many people may think about our talent.

And as for The Cloud, it had nothing, I repeat nothing to do with us blowing two shots at the coastal this past season. If one wants to use that tired excuse for recruiting, then so be it. But our coaches' X's and O's ability is not nor ever has been determined by The Cloud.
