D'Onofrio runs a completely different system that they have to recruit for. Do I like the system? No. Do I think it's not a good choice for us? Yes. This should have been your mantra last season. Or like the RGT pros. Who knew he needed fired after the 1st play of the Maryland game in 2011. He just took the 120th defense and flipped them to 33rd. I see things i don't like, but he is going to be here another season, and we will just have to see what happens.

It's also not D'Onofrio's fault that Randy's mismanagement of the roster put us in this position. Bud Foster has been at VT since 1987. Beamer has been at VT since 1987. You weren't even out of diapers yet. They have a well established system in place, which they've been recruiting to for 26 years. Golden inherited a roster full of holes, and where there weren't holes, there wasn't enough talent. He had 2 months to scrape together a recruiting class because Randy was too busy trying to save his **** to bother with recruiting anyone. It takes years to reverse the kind of damage Randy and Coker did to this program.

I have got off the Morris is "great" **** since the Sav. St. game when he got hurt..... the point is he gives Miami the best chance to win and that's where my stance has been since.
