If he’s running the same gimmicky system his old boss runs- not sure his success will be sustainable. Bare minimum he can always be an asset as a position coach because of his recruiting ability. Best of luck to him.

Yeah kinda curious how similar or different his D is compared to what they ran while he was here.

You would be surprised how much coaches take from other coaches. I’ve heard Sean Mcvay took something from a WAC school a year ago. It can be a play, a formation, etc.

To many people he had Diaz stink all over him but he was always a good coach and good recruiter and he will move on to a Big 12 school, do well and get a head coaching gig somewhere.

I think Banda is a good x and o’s guy aslong as he isn’t under mandys tackling style guy too little questionable on some recruiting decisions but I think he Is a solid to above average coach

My kid is starting her college day at USU next fall. Banda has done a good job especially when you consider Usu is the little brother to Utah and distant 3rd to BYU here in the state, the Manny gimmick defense is good to run there with lesser players he gets. Looking forward to heading up to Logan for a game.

He’s good peeps and the players loved him. He was one of the few positives here especially with recruiting.
