Coach Mike Rumph is also CMR.
Being a Christian does not mean you live like a Saint. We are sinners. There's just an understanding that our higher power died for our sins.
This religous stuff is getting overblown.
Nah, it is just people without self control and a strong moral compass using an easy out to justify their inability to be reasonable in the face of desire and a shorter path without having to accept responsibility.
Without God,there is no moral standard and so what is right and wrong morally can be argued endlessly.

Football period is involved with religious folk. Most teams pray the Lords prayer before every game. That's on all levels. Most coaches are religious...from Mike Leach to Mark Richt. Being a Christian does not mean you live like a Saint. We are sinners. There's just an understanding that our higher power died for our sins.

Woah, um, no. God or religion does not own morality.
Rick may be a christian but he's not retarded, he doesn't just blindly shove his faith down every recruit's throats if they don't believe in it.

I realize there are many non-religious people who are very moral but the standard comes from God otherwise they are just a matter of personal opinion. If morals are just a matter of my opinion or yours then you can never legitimately say anything is right or wrong.

Yes we can. Certain things are regarded as wrong by the majority of people, religious or not. Murder, rape, stealing. I don't need god to tell me these things are wrong, and it won't be god who punishes me if I do these things. This agreement is the glue that holds society together, not belief in god.

These governing laws and the attitude trowards things like rape, murder, stealing, etc were set in place thousands of years ago by a group of ppl who believed those laws came directly from God. So yes God has set the moral standard of what is considered right or wrong today.
As far and the topic of this thread. We have some of the most out of touch fans in all of college football. I get we are all sick of losing these conclusions ppl come to are just silly.
Name 1 other team that has a winning percentage of .500 over the last 10 years that has a top 15 class? Heck name 1 other team that has a winning percentage of .500 over the last 10 years that has a top 25 class? The fact that we even have a top 20
Class after a decade of losing, average facilities and lack of game day atmosphere is a testament to Richt and his staffs ability to recruit.
I get it as fans we don't care about the record, facilities or that the stadium Is half empty, But recruits do.

No, actually those laws were put in place thousands of years before Jesus was even born. The Romans, the Greeks, the Babylonians and others all had those laws and Codes. They were polytheistic societies.
