Oh god, now people are crying about this? lol.

His cousin posts on 247 and has been feeding info about Cleveland's recruitment. Sounds like he wants to take a couple of free trips in Jan. He's not looking at either FSU or UF.

But please, continue convincing yoursevles he's gone if he doesn't sign early.

Where is he looking to visit?

Don't worry about it. He's completely locked in. He just wants to go get pitched by a couple other schools late in the process. Guys who are committed never flip. Forget about that lie detector known as the early signing period.

These guys keep putting their hand on the hotplate and wondering why they get burned.

They refuse to see how simple this really is because they're too dopey to see the light. If a guy wants to take visits and chooses not to sign during the early period, then he's open. He might still wind up here in the end, but he's open.

Why is that so tough for some of these guys to comprehend? They pay too much attention to words and hype and don't pay attention to actions.

This. A guy is either ready to sign or he isn't. Any real 100% committed kid will sign tomorrow, or some time during the early signing period. Anyone who does not sign tomorrow likely has some % of doubt or is open for an "offer." Simple math.

Been saying it for a while now. But the early signing period is a troll check. However, I feel good about the rest of our class:

Blades: I can't see him flipping. St. Thomas is probably pressuring their kids into signing in February, which if true, is a flat out shame and a horrible approach.

Silvera: Our most important recruit and someone I hope Kool's spending all his time on. The fact that he's OV'ing with the rest of the Heritage kids on the 26th (last OV of the cycle) makes me feel better.

Reed: This is the most perplexing one and the guy I'm watching. His cousin says everything's good. But recruiting is recruiting. Things change day-to-day. Why couldn't he takes his OVs during the summer? Or at a different time in the process?

Preach

There are no UM fans where Reed is from. The town is mostly UF with the almost all the rest FSU. If he doesn't sign early it's a HUGE red flag. Common sense says he wants to get to know the new staffs at UF and/or FSU.

I agree. I have no issues them wanting to take visits; however, take the visits prior to early signing if you’re committed.

It's as if everyone just gets hyped up on what insiders and sources say. As if we haven't been burned by that with a f*ggot not but 3 days ago. And we had the best Canes source out there calling it the other way. Cognitive Dissonance at its best

These guys never learn.

What exactly is your point here Franchise? That he could flip? I guess. That it's likely? Doubtful.

Comparing him to Jobe is just dumb though. Same way everybody said every recruit was the next McFarland. I've yet to see anyone legit, including the "best Cane's source" say he isn't coming.

**** he still might sign early

You're asking the wrong questions. The right question is if [insert recruits name] is really all about the U, why isn't he signing in December?

Thats not his point at all. His point is that if you are really committed to said school, here or elsewhere, you will sign when given the opportunity and not wait to take visits and see what else there is thats being offered. If he's locked in with Miami he would sign tomorrow and not take wait until feb while taking visits

It's really not hard to grasp the idea that if a recruit wants to take OVs this late in the game, that he's opened to be flipped. I still think Reed signs here.

But Pete's been wrong before. ****, Jobe's 7-on-7 coach came on Pete's podcast and said that Jobe was all Miami, and looked what happened. It's recruiting, sometimes there's a weird turn every cycle.

I got it first hand last night there is nothing to worry about here. He is all Miami.

Might still sign early. Just wants to see the country (small town) and ***** girls. Solid.
