Rebuilding this OL has been the biggest task of this staff. Golden and crew left the OL with very little talent and a lot of depth issues. We were fortunate to not sustain a major injury or it would have been a catastrophe.

Per Searels, Donaldson is staying at Guard. We will need to replace the entire left side of the OL this year. Maybe move St. Louis to LT, so that RT up for grabs. Scaife or Herbert could be in the game for that spot?

That surprised me a bit. Searels put Donaldson as starting RT in his first practice last spring, so that was clearly his vision.

If Donaldson stays at guard, it could be a battle between Scaife, Hillary and Herbert for that RT spot. All three bring talent to the table.

Man I must have been watching a different game than the rest of you. Maybe compared to the other remaining Golden collateral damage he graded out well. There is no way I put him at LT ID rather put Donaldson there if it comes to that. Let’s hope it doesn’t..

Truth is, we don’t have a natural LT on the team. We’ve been recruiting the **** out of interior like road-graders but lacking at OT(specifically LT) which is why I wanted Leatherwood last year and Cade Mays this year. I like Campbell but he needs a couple of years in the weight room before he’s ready. Interior will definitely be improved over the next year or so though with last years and this years haul though. The run-game specifically in short yardage should improve greatly.
