Clements will shock you guys this season...

Couldn't agree more. He was the only back to run with some anger and finish runs last season. Miller has all the talent but didn't finish runs as well and james had a rough year

Next season is no expectations, just sit back and enjoy for me.

I liked what I saw from his limited time last year. Looking forward to seeing him get a lot more carries this year. I think he's going to end up being our best back as well.

I watched the lil dude play in person when he was a sophmore and harris, collier, and Djohnson were seniors. He had the most talent and if it wasn't for him they wouldn't have won state that year.

His moves, wiggle and hips remind me of Portis, but most people think he's slower than Portis. I'm not sure I buy that.

I could see Clements taking the team on his shoulders for a game or two like Portis did against BC that day in Boston. I'm a big fan.

He's definitely going to get a chance to show us. I don't see how he isn't the starter if healthy.

Really thought he appeared to be the best back when he got the ball last year. Loved his wiggle and burst into the line, he had no fear to hit the hole, speed was a question mark for me. Don't think he runs a 4.3 but if he is under 4.5 it would make me happy. Looking forward to him leading this team to victory next year.

He reminded me of when Damien Berry started getting some playing time. People discounted it at first because it was in scrimmages or mop up, but he always got yards. Clements runs "angry". James will probably start off ahead, but I think by the end of the spring and going into the fall he'll have pulled even or ahead for playing time.

yep, and people over hyped Damien too.

I like Clements but I think he needs a lot of work. we really haven't seen enough of him to get a gauge of what he can do. we have def seen that he is not a 4.4 guy though. dude runs with a dead leg a la Javarris James

I expect him to be very solid this year. He's probably going to be playing at a solid 200-205 pounds on his 5'9 frame. I believe the OL, barring health, will be better as a unit when it comes to run blocking, and I also believe that Clements will make them look better.

Last season, Lamar Miller was basically feast or famine, and that is his running style. Miller doesn't have the best feet, what he has is elite speed, solid vision, and nice size. So, when there was a hole, Miller would hit it at a speed faster than the defense could react to and end up with huge runs. There will be less of that this year with Clements, but more consistent solid gains (4-8 yards), this is because i believe Clements has better vision, balance, and quicker feet to react to small creases developing along the LOS.

I think he's quick, not fast. Doubt he runs a 4.3. Stupid claim, unless you have something to corroborate that.

When he gets to second level, doesn't run away from anyone.
