Four-Star Cornerback Hill Will Visit Miami

12/21/15
Miami has convinced top 100 cornerback Lavert Hill to take an official visit.
Hill (5-11, 175) plans to visit UM the final weekend before National Signing Day on January 29th.
Cornerback is one of the key positions that new head coach Mark Richt has identified as an area that UM needs to upgrade and build depth moving forward. Hill is rated as the No. 67 overall player in the country and the No. 6 cornerback in the country by 247Sports.com.
Miami will have its work cut out for them if they are going to land Hill. A native of Detroit, Michigian, Hill is believed to be leaning heavily toward the University of Michigan at this time. Michigan State is also recruiting Hill heavily.
Hill has already taken official visits to Tennessee and Michigan. He plans to visit Southern California on January 15th, Michigan State on January 22nd, and Miami on January 29th.
Hill will play in the Army All-American Game.

Detroit four-star cornerback Lavert Hill had the ability to enroll early in college, but has decided to take his recruitment out through the month of January.
An In-State Battle for Hill's Commitment?
It's been roughly 10 months since LaVert Hill verbally committed to Penn State back in late January, but after months of speculation that he'd ultimately sign with either Michigan or Michigan State, that rumor has finally come to fruition.

Hill decommitted from the Nittany Lions just a week following his official visit to Happy Valley. The No. 11 ranked senior cornerback in the country by the 247Sports Composite Rankings has yet to visit East Lansing since the Oregon game on Sept. 12, but has traveled to Ann Arbor on three separate occasions since that unofficial visit.
There's the possibility that Hill and teammate and MSU target Donnie Corley would sign with the same team, but most experts have Hill committing to Michigan.
The advantage of choosing the Wolverines over the Spartans for Hill is that he would get to play with his older brother, Delano, who's a Detroit Cass Tech graduate.
