Class Impact: Corey Flagg to Miami

Thats Saquon Barkley. The chances of this kid ever seeing a back that good are slim to none.

Its just a readily available clip.

Can pick dozens of runs by Dalvin Cook against our own linebackers for the same effect and he's the exact opposite of Barkley as a testing athlete.

I like Flagg a lot. As others have mentioned, he’s the alpha on one of the more talented teams Texas has produced in a while. In his clips you can see him tackle multiple top 100 national players in space - Zach Evans, Hudson Card, Deondrick Glass, Jaquinden Jackson. That’s the best of the best, anywhere. His team went through Katy, Lake Travis, and Duncanville last year to close out the season, 3 absolute powerhouses. I like how he sifts through traffic at the LOS (reminds me of Nate Webster how he gets through the trash and finds the ball carrier), he never overruns a play, and he’s as sure of a tackler as you will find.

He has physical limitations, sure, but I think he will be a very good player for us. I’m pumped. That high school and Duncanville are about to go on an amazing run in Texas, watch.... player transfers are starting to get more and more loose and you’re starting to see truly loaded teams like Texas has avoided in the past. The coaches of these two schools are loading up. Houston and South Dallas (Duncanville) kids are kids who should fit right in at Miami in every way.

That school must just be really talented, they had 5 star klaxon chaisson who terrorized Miami last year vs LSU too

I like this kid I do and some people here do know I liked him when I saw his film but the other and this thread will feel like that meeting room with Donofrio arguing with Brown about the Safety lol. I cant put no excuses for that 40 for my boy Flagg thats bad, I like him but hate that number.
I began hating him at this point that 40 was way too alarming. Then I saw the espn highlight game where he played....he was so bad in the highlight tape so so so so bad.

he had mvps though they said, they used that Yearby logic. They all clown dorito but most people here used that logic while watching Flaggs tape. Me and a group of others were the Hurlie Browns of the room looking at them like wtf
He runs a 5.6 but can he play MLB? He’s an MLb

but they said he was catching HS kids in Texas.......HS dont mean ****. If I see Dalvin Cook at a pop warner school running passed 5 year old hes still a take. Its the tools that they have that they can bring at this level...all about projection and inserting that talent into the ACC vs D1 kids.

We saw the game different. Flagg looked on par with our linebacker room. His instincts and ability to take sound angles was better than the upperclassman

his angle on the Phillips sack made that play. He forced Trevor Lawrence to cut back into the sack.

But yes. You porsters who never put on pads before go have a circle jerk about his HS 40 speed.

well save this post and if your right u can circle back, I would for **** sure eat crow if somehow he became some sideline to sideline backer. Yea it isnt about 40 your right but if u cant get angles and chase in this era u are in deep ****, and of course people are mad cause the standards here for Linebacker are epic levels.

No no no bruh. We don’t have to save this 😂😂😂

I don’t think he will ever be sideline to sideline. He’s not that guy. What I saw was he diagnose a play. Take a good angle towards the ball a split faster than 53 and 44.

to me he seems more polished than the rest of our backers Playing. Which is crazy factoring all the LB coaches we have.
