Chris Wheatley-Humphrey

I like the running backs that also look good and natural at DB

A lot of pausing about to happen but you can’t be stiff and play DB and having fluid hips and quick change of direction, suddenness are great qualities for a running back

Backs that win those one on one battles in close quarters are the ones that break big plays
You the only one who can come back from that lol

Someone mentioned in another thread that he will be moved to DB. Just posting here since this thread is specific to Hellcat.

Mentioned it in another thread — Gaby on 247 said his only verified time is a 4.7 in the 40. I think that’s why.
This.

All we heard about him in the beginning of his recruitment was how blazing fast he was; I asked for like 2 months about track times & it was radio silence...

Seems to me he's not really as fast as advertised & that probably brings him down quite a bit because its somewhat of a red flag for a kid with alleged Sub 11 speed to not run track for almost 2 years, especially in South FL HS.

Not saying that he can't improve on his speed as he gains more strength, its just odd to me that the first thing people say about him is how fast he is, yet there's not much evidence to prove it.

Kid would've done himself a huge service had he run track this year.

This. I mean look at his highlights where he is destroying angles. Dudes like that aren't 4.7 kids.
Seems like he has a fast first few steps and he’s got nice jukes and change of direction, but I’d also be interested to see him run track.

Hard to tell how fast he is since a lot of the defenders in the big run clips don’t look very impressive.

Not trying to hate though the kid is clearly a baller. Speed is important and so is being a football player and you don’t get 17 ypc without being a football player
