Chances D'onofrio is fired mid season

Not a chance D is gone mid season. We have the dumbest fans. And like it or not, archer knows nothing. Golden isn't on the hot seat. Not even warm unless we have a losing record.

You have very huge gaps in your memory. Maybe you were in a coma, out of the country, or in the joint.

PSU needed a coach, Golden wet himself and went after it. Two PSU groups coach hunting. Golden disappeared. Silence. Shalala was asked about Golden time and again, and she in frustration finally admitted she couldn't get a hold of him.

That was all public. And it ****ed her off something awful.

Did you also miss his "return" press conference? You had to have missed it. It was the most embarrassing press conferences of all time. Shalala had already torn that clown a new sphincter.

Dumbass broke the first rule of job hunting - you have to negotiate with the actual decision makers - not renegade wannabe's.

He's STILL on her sihtlist, she doesn't trust him, and he knows the ONLY reason he's still here is the contract he has. But even that won't save him with another ***** up or a poor showing.

Shalala loves AG. Don't let any idiots tell you different. She gave politician responses during the whole PSU thing. I know this for a fact, but that doesn't mean he won't ultimately end up on the hot seat. Shalala wants to win.

When it came to light Randy a local kid wasn't recruiting local kids from programs like Central at all we had a problem. He was concentrating on NW and BTW and ignored half of Dade County. He was his own worst enemy.

Some of these responses are great. This has nothing to do with being a moper or a "real" cane fan (dafuq?). I'm just pondering the possibilities and what is likely to happen. You guys are probably right, if D'onofrio does get fired it will probably be at the end of the season.

There's gotta be a balance between between being as negative possible and overly optimistic. I respect D'onofrio a lot more then most here, and it's entirely possible this D takes a big step forward this year. I just feel like D'onofrio has been on the hot seat for a little while now I'm sure it's just the fans who are somewhat skeptical. Improvement needs to be shown, that's just the reality of the situation.

I know what you mean. At WEZ, a source indicated that another FSU coach may be coming to Miami, but since there's a serious question as to Al being fired after this season, things are kind of up in the air.

Kind of gets my hope up. Not the FSU coach part - the other part.
