Chance Robinson commits to Miami

You guys read every word from a 17 year old like its the end of the world.
I can’t see a a rational person making a decision about where to play in college for 4 years come down to a QB commit. Sure it’s nice to talk about like a big man in basketball wanting to play with a good point guard, but that is such a small piece of the overall puzzle.
There is also; coaching staff, location, academics, depth chart, and about 12 other things I can’t think of.

Relax on this young man. If that was the best review he can give UF after an OV, basically that they are firmly in 2nd place, then we are in good shape If he has at least 1 rational parent in his life.
it appears this isn't "nothing". Miami needs to get a legitimate QB.

It's not 'nothing' but you need to do better than running back here with a UF 247 article and treating it as gospel
The UF article didn’t write the quotes for Robinson. I saw it mentioned in gator tears that he took his UM stuff down but I don’t check that bc I’m not a social media stalker……but after seeing these quotes, I wouldn’t be surprised whatsoever.

Not worried. Two things in our favor 1) He's OV'ing to us in a couple of weeks 2) TVD is a million times better than UF's QB room and it should play out that way on the field this year.

Unfortunately, most of these teenage football recruits aren’t very rational. Don’t even get me started about the “adults” around them either.

First of all they have to hold on to lagway with their other QB flipping. Then they have a brutal schedule could be hard to get to 5 wins so they might be on the hot seat
Well I missed the Bowens flip yesterday. Did Austin Simmons flip today???

no one is treating it as "gospel". It's simply something to note. they aren't the only ones talking about it, either.

This isn't a new topic - It's been debated on this board in numerous threads. The QB situation after TVD is not a positive factor for recruiting right now. The last thing most of these kids remember is Jacurri from last season... On paper, we haven't added much to the room.

He'll end up where be ends up.

What people forget about recruiting is that when a visit happens, there's going to be a lot of positive words said post visit. It happens every time someone comes here. It happens every time someone visits UF, FSU, UGA, etc.

Recruits aren't going to say bad things about the place they just visited. The school reporters who just had a visit are going to paraphrase interviews into their own words. You ever see kids give interviews? It's worded nothing like what's put to print typically. Gotta drum up excitement to get those clicks, same is true here.

So after a visit, most said or printed means jack ****. He may come or he may not, but you won't find out from him talking about this weekend.
