CFP Quarterfinals: UGA vs Notre Dame 1/2

They missed it but still like going for it. Game is over if ND got a TD on that drive. UGA hasn't been able to run the ball, needs two scores, and is playing their backup QB. Nice call to try to end the game by Freeman that didn't work out.

kill another 3 min off the clock if you do get it but dont score.

Extremely stupid call, your offense sucks and your d has played great...maoe them drove the whole field and eat up time
I think it's because ND's defense has played well that Freeman went for it from the 50

You said "they get it done". I guess we have different definitions of that considering when they actually made the BCS in prior years they back doored their way in and then got murdered in the actual games.

2023: 10-3 and played in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl
2022: 9-4
2021: 11-2 and lost in Fiesta Bowl to Oklahoma St
2020: 10-2 and lost 31-14 to Bama
2019: 11-2 and beat Iowa St in Camping World Bowl
2018: 12-1 and lost 30-3 to Clemson
2017: 10-3
2016: 4-8
2015: 10-3

i agree - we have very different definitions of a successful program. I look at what you posted and am impressed at the consistency of winning 10+ games.

And if you look at the roster composition, Notre Dame has always been in the low single digits for 5 star players. They don’t play a cupcake schedule every year and based on your numbers, are basically a lock to win 10+ every year. Losing frequently in the playoffs doesn’t change my opinion on their success as a program.

The last 2 weeks are what I'm speaking of.

I don't remember any of those taking over games and being a complete mismatch like JS has been the last 2 weeks.
Look at JSN’s season from 2021, he went nuclear, especially down the stretch. His Rose Bowl game is one of the best WR performances of all-time - 15 catches for 347 yards and 3 TDs.
