2024 CB Ellis Robinson IV

UGA is the most overrated team in the country.

Bama is really good though.

We'd beat the brakes off UGA in neutral field game. When their DB's aren't allowed to blatantly hold & get away PI every snap, they cannot defend downfield.

And Offensively, without Bowers they have no explosion & have to dink & dunk their way down field. People have been enamored with the myth of UGA & refuse to see the reality. They're genuinely not that good this year & any team with a legit Vertical attack is going to give them serious problems.

Bama on the other hand, would be a matchup nightmare for us. Our best bet in that hypothetical game would be to make it a shootout & try to go score for score.
Yea bama is a bad matchup they would body us imo. I don’t think we beat uga though cause I think their fronts are better and they will get hella pressure on ward. But hope you right cause we might see them for sure.

My thing it’s being built up on here now that we have the same type of talent as them (not you, maybe you have idk) but when fans start doing that and we lose to them they will say it was coaching. Imo bama and uga rosters are just better right now.

We would not beat the breaks off Georgia we almost lost at home to Virginia tech. I’m all for confidence and we are a really good team. Especially at full strength playing our best game. But beat the breaks off? Lmao

He’s rather knowledgeable about football so I think he knows what he is talking about, especially regarding DBs. Some teams are considered much stronger than they actually are because of performance in recent years. For instance, basically every pundit said FSU was winning the ACC this year, but they might not win 3 games. It’s not all due to bad coaching , they simply don’t have the personnel.

I haven’t watched much UGA but it’s entirely possible they have don’t have the talent in the secondary that people assume they do (especially for a school that has virtually unlimited money to buy players). And can’t argue with the observation that UGA doesn’t have an explosive offense, while we definitely do. Could bad coaching on our part ***** up any advantage we might have? Yes. I have my doubts about the decision making of our HC and Coordinators. But personnel wise I think it would take a very strong defense to stop our offense, and I think our D is actually pretty good when it is healthy at all positions.

While I predicted UGA having 2 losses and not winning the SEC, Miami is not ready for them. Miami couldn't beat UGA much less pummel them. Why can't we be happy with our progress and hopefully winning the ACC? We aren't ready to beat any top 5 team. I will keep saying I think 26, depending on our QB is when this roster is ready to challenge anyone. I personally believe young players have to keep developing in 25 for us.

UGA does recruit DBs in a similar way that we want to. Bigger strong physical types but they lack speed and struggle in coverage if they aren’t allowed to bully the WR. If we can protect Cam, if, I think we would light them up. On offense, I think they have talent but once again, Bobo is dumpster trash that forgot to be picked up for a month.

THANK YOU!

Can u imagine mofos saying Sauce Gardner got beat by JaMarr Chase?! Like, ummm, YEAH!
It’s crazy what people watch sometimes. They go with the typical “Bama and uga missed tackles” im like bruh would they miss against us though lol. Put our team out there and they not going to miss many. People think we are at that level and after watching Saturday we are not. Not even close yet imo and I was sipping the koolaid but my eyes told the truth and I put bias aside

Fresh off of being unable to stop VT....

Bama and Georgia are cheeks...

Love this confidence....and day drinking... lots of day drinking in here...

UMs defense starts with the pass rush. Basically the entire DL was hurt or out. If front 4 can’t get pressure , Guidry has to blitz and that creates a lot of holes. I think we’ll see a return to form against Cal with the Killer B’s back (not sure if Barrow is playing though).

Playing corner means you're gonna lose a lot of battles.

I have no idea how people think there are corners who avoid being roasted.

It happens to ALL of them. The best ones limit the damage. No one erases it entirely.
Yep!
Confidence plays a big part in it. If you have a bad rep you gotta forget it and move on.

We wouldn't beat UGA. We barely beat VT, at home.

UGA overrated, but Bama really good, meanwhile Bama allowed a comeback and barely won. Usually like your takes, but that's a bizarre one.
UGA lit ran 4 verticals the entire 4th quarter and ppl were drooling themselves. The game was super exciting but alot of it was down right awful football.

Nothing bizarre about it.

UGA doesn't have the same type of personnel to give us the problems that VA Tech did & Bama would. Their Offense is a lot more rudimentary than Bama's & can be contained as long as you stop the run.

The only reason they came back against Bama is because Bama played conservative after they got a 3TD lead & stop putting pressure on them.

Styles make fights & UGA's style is a lot easier for us to deal with than Bama's. A game against Bama would like very similar to VA Tech's, except with better players on the perimeter.

I get it, you guys love yall some UGA so much that you couldn't even fathom the thought of them losing to little ol' Miami, but as I said, on a neutral field we'd win.

They have no answer for Cam, Restrepo, JGeorge, Arroyo, Horton, Brown & company.

I don't care one way or another about UGA. Just another team, no rivalry with us, so get out of here with that bit about loving them.

College football is athlete based first and then match-up based. Athletically they're still up there with anyone and could beat anyone as evidenced by almost beating Bama.

Bama did get conservative, but that also doesn't give any kind of credit to Georgia adjusting after Bama flew out of the gate in the first quarter. Bama does that to a lot of teams and they bury them, not let then come back. Bama didn't just sit there and cross their fingers hoping they had a big enough lead.

No answer for whomever on our team? That was the consensus before VT. They don't have some crazy astute coaching staff and almost pulled off the upset. Were you talking the same match up problems, thinking it would go down to the wire? Good on you if you were!

UGAs qb not being able to run gives us a chance 100%

We still don't have that premium talent like those 2 Rosters.

Schemes are cool but until we have guys that scare coordinators when game planning for us, every Saturday is up in arms.

I still believe we are a few full cycles away, plus key portal guys!
