I think he was talking about the DBs they were going against but it looked like to me none of them could find the ball if their lives depended on it. We been yelling about that for years here and it's interesting to see these two teams be terrible about it.

Won’t know until the draft, I’m just saying by the eye test they look faster and more physical in a lot of spots. A lot of different factors go into why someone missed a tackle etc. and I really don’t want to watch the whole **** thing I’m no expert. All I’m saying is even great DBs will miss tackles playing against guys their own level especially if the qb is great to and getting it to them fast. Pause

Nah bro I'm sorry, their DBs (on both sides) simply played bad against WRs that'll compete for 4th/5th on our roster at best (Again, outside of the 17 year old). Yes, DBs have bad days, and they aren't suddenly trash..but ain't no way they performed like that because they played against NFL receivers. Them boys are NOT it.

Alabamas secondary got brutally gutted by the draft and portal. Heupel is going to roast their *** in a couple weeks. If Georgia can spread it out more and play hurry up with Mike Bobo, what is Heupel going to do to them?

Not sure what Georgias issues are, though. TBone is usually a good coach
 
Call me a homer. But other than Williams, who looked at another level, none of the other receivers looked better than what our DBs face in practice. Cager is a great example. Dude is not as good as Horton or Brown. And for all Brown's lack of physicality after the catch, at least he can block and has wheels.

Let's see if/how we bounce back from Va Tech and how this season plays out. I still can't tell how good our team really is relative to these so called juggernauts UGA and Bama. I personally don't see much of a talent gap at the moment. But that could be the level of comp.

UGA is the most overrated team in the country.

Bama is really good though.

We'd beat the brakes off UGA in a neutral field game. When their DB's aren't allowed to blatantly hold & get away with PI every snap, they cannot defend downfield.

And Offensively, without Bowers they have no explosion & have to dink & dunk their way down field. People have been enamored with the myth of UGA & refuse to see the reality. They're genuinely not that good this year & any team with a legit Vertical attack is going to give them serious problems.

Bama on the other hand, would be a matchup nightmare for us. Our best bet in that hypothetical game would be to make it a shootout & try to go score for score.

Agreed and you know what if Florida could do that with Kyle Trash and and Pitts I think we could too with Cam.

With a solid gameplan and catching this offense on a week when they're hitting on all cylinders... crazier things have happened.

The first CB taken in the past NFL draft came from Toledo. Yeah Bama and UGA produce NFL talent but not everyone on their teams are studs. Bunch of them just transferred to FSU. Starting day 1 in the swamp, whether the lizards suck or not tells me there is something special about OJ. And even against VT and USF it was older players giving up plays.

UGA has a serious problem at OC as well. Dude is awful.
 
We wouldn't beat UGA. We barely beat VT, at home.

UGA overrated, but Bama really good, meanwhile Bama allowed a comeback and barely won. Usually like your takes, but that's a bizarre one.
