Besides, I just read where Ed took the OC job at some high school in Georgia. Seems odd that he would take that job, but also that they would offer it to him. Especially, of all things, OC???Ed Reed? Jeez I really hope that is sarcasm. I cant deal with the ignorance on this site with people thinking you just get a great Cane legend to come coach their position and they will be great.
If only coaching was that easy...
Pre-NIL..I give him a pass on this. He was operating with one hand tied behind his back as we all know now. Its an even playing field now. That said, I dont want Rumph and I dont even think he is a serious option. Hes fine where he is. Leave him there. No thank you on Rumph. He couldn't croot. Once he lost Tyson Campbell it was a wrap...
Exactly. We all knew the only 1-2 that would return from the staff. It sure as **** wasn’t going be the guy who was connected with the DC that just got fired. This was LG’s hire. There was no other connection.Writing has been on the wall for a while now. Nick Monroe?
Or, why don’t we let the new dc hire who he wants as a db coach? Our fanbase is moronic.Yes let’s hire Rumph immediately
Why interview candidates and do a job search when you can just build a fence around south Florida coaches
Do you know when Monroe will be announced?Exactly. We all knew the only 1-2 that would return from the staff. It sure as **** wasn’t going be the guy who was connected with the DC that just got fired. This was LG’s hire. There was no other connection.
YessirMinn new DC is the safeties coach not Monroe... that seems pretty telling
You can have more than 10 coaches now. He doesn’t have to recruitNo thank you on Rumph. He couldn't croot. Once he lost Tyson Campbell it was a wrap...
and yall would complain when he hires some dude you never heard ofOr, why don’t we let the new dc hire who he wants as a db coach? Our fanbase is moronic.
We tried to that with chevis Jackson and a host of others coaches coordinators had wanted in the last decade and it’s not always a bulletproof planOr, why don’t we let the new dc hire who he wants as a db coach? Our fanbase is moronic.
I don't know if this is true, but I would assume based on how great of an athlete he was that he played QB or RB or WR or all of them in HS. Plus, his name alone would attract kids to a school so it could be a good move from that aspect also.B

Yea it’s Chamblee High outside of Atlanta. I later found out that his son goes there so it makes total sense for him now when you look at it from that point of view. I can’t fault any father for wanting to coach their son.I don't know if this is true, but I would assume based on how great of an athlete he was that he played QB or RB or WR or all of them in HS. Ed Reed is the one guy I think would be a great coach. He is a HOFer strictly off instincts. Plus he coached DBs in the NFL already. Plus who wouldn't want to play for him?Ed Reed?
