I had/have no problem with Rumph as a coach/teacher/developer. I like him. Hes certainly not elite but hes not the worst either. His problem was that he couldn't recruit to save his life but under Mario on this staff that negative would be greatly mitigated. That being said, I am not at all in favor of his return to an on field role. There are so many great coaches out there. Let's allow Coach Hetherman to select his own staff.

Just hire Mike rumph back as db coach. He’s a great teacher like beard is at receiver and just have Cristobal recruit all the dbs to help him out

He’s coached our best cb group in his last stint at Miami so no I dont Want to hear that he’s not a good coach.


Also like Mike reed that was at Clemson for a while.

being a good recruiter doesn't even matter. rump would do fine in the NIL era. just increase the NIL bag allotment for DBs
