Carson Beck

I don’t see the downside of bringing him in.

What else do we have on the roster? And who else is available that would be an upgrade?

They want this Emory guy who needs 33 passing attempts to get to 150 yards passing or a guy who completes 8 passes in a game
Agree, some of our fans are ******* idiots! They talk crap about Beck and glamour for Emery like he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Smh I have to believe Mario smart enough to get a transfer in here because no way Emery is the guy.

I might take the chance on Beck.

Qualifiers are he will not be healthy enough to throw until Summer and be ready for Fall. This gives Emory, Judd, and Nickel all of Spring with Emory the presumptive leader. Beck comes into compete and might just end up quality backup in 2025. One downside is the NIL amount that may be required to sign Beck. He's not worth a top-end deal unless he takes the starting job and plays at a high level. Beck's injury takes away some negotiating leverage however.

I'd wait until the second portal window opens and see what the other options are available.

Exactly like I have no clue what makes them think Emory is a sure thing saying Beck or Ewers or Medoza would have to beat out Emory like he's proven anything

I didn't read anyone saying they didn't want ewers to come but maybe
Id love ewers.

Id rather you start at qb over beck, he the safest qb I've seen since vandyke play
He's injured now as well
If he wants to come carry his girls basketball bag around like vandyke did golf clubs sure but no NIL money

Just off what I remember, not only was Bowers able to make the first guy miss, he had the tackles that were quick enough to get out there and block for him.

Rivers and Francis were like 50/50, Bell was never quick enough to get there in time.
Bowers is a beast, but Miami had significantly more playmakers.
Bowers: 56 rec/714 yd, 6 td

Arroyo: 31//526 6 td
X: 69/1127, 11
George: 51/728, 7
Horton: 56/616, 6

This thread is wild.

So you have a choice going into 2025. Emory or a healthy Beck. Who do you take?
