Be consistent and hit the short/intermediate routes in Dawson's offense...especially if we add another elite WR. We don't need him to throw bombs downfield all the time to be successful. Get the ball in JoJo and Carr's hands and let them work. Toney/Moore too.

We don't *need* it, but I wonder if this opens the door for a Damien Martinez-ish type of RB to jump from some school to us as a trio to go with Fletcher/Lyle in addition to getting another portal WR come Spring? If we're gonna load up with Beck, let's really load up.

My point is that we beat GT and Syracuse with a different offensive philosophy and taking some pressure off the defense.

Guess we will see. Maybe not.

Cam was too much quarterback imo. We needed him in a year where the defense was abysmal.

Im hoping a lesser qb changes our offensive identity a little bit. We play a bit of keep away.

I've seen Dawson talk about having a potent offense that scores too quickly is not always a good thing because it puts your defense back on the field quickly. He says that's the reason he doesn't default to hurry up, no-huddle. Cam was so prolific on 3rd and 4th down, that if you didnt watch the game, you might have thought we hurried up a lot, but we didn't. As such, I get your point and agree.

I hear ya, but I think a third RB only marginally improves our team.

I’d spend resources on one more dynamic WR with proven production. And then continue to shore up the defense (Lucas if he ever enters, a pass rusher, etc.).
