Canes vs Gators thread.

losing is not the issue. its losing like this thats a problem. again, poor defense and otherwise complete ineptitude. being there is not good enough....show me that u have a clue how to play baseball against high level competition when the chips are down. this game was a repeat of our post season vs the gators for the last 7 years.

No other school would be ok with being 5-19 ... Excuse me ... 5-20 after least night and losing 5 of the last 6 series against your in state rival.
THAT'S the problem. Accepting mediocrity as progress and success.
 
Wow, before torching the building and kicking the baby to the street, this is one game. Defense was ****** and loss embarrassing, but this College WS, eight best teams in the country, best of the best. Not like the program is trash and underachieved.

It's been "one game" since 2001, CTCANE. Every time we lose in the post-season, it's just one game. But our players are still champions at the new U.

No the type of fan that ruins programs is the type that come in here trashing program, coaches, players after 1 loss in a double elimination tourney for the college world series championship. No program needs fans like that.

We just went six straight years without even winning a single super regional game, much less actually making a run at anything. What's futility is your masquerading as a fan much less a knowledgeable one. You can trash me all you want but I've forgotten more about Canes sports than you will ever know. Fans who have been and are loyal to a program WIN OR LOSE are the ones that make the program not some internet nerd hiding behind a keyboard

I have no problem with calling out Morris for the team's woeful efforts. It is the rinse and repeat rants by the resident **** stirrers (not QOS and Smokey) that whine about the administration repeatedly after literally every loss to stir **** up without one ounce of baseball discussion.

These administration rants make the fans - super or otherwise - look ridiculous. Yelling **** the U, Miami hates sports when the Baseball team is in the College World Series, is replacing the coach and extended the streak of post season appearances will yield zero productive results and further the belief that our fanbase is clueless when to the contrary there a many productive, well thought out fans that want to discuss whether the changes will lead to sustained success.

The collective of the board agreed that the season was a success. I commented that some would not judge the season until it ended. Going into the Florida game most expected us to lose and most knew Florida was the better team. Both showed on Saturday. Their approach at the plate was maddening because it was so much something we would like to see from the Canes. Solid defense and a good approach at the plate. The UF SS turns two on the comedy of errors by Lopez that started the onslaught.
