Andrew Cabezas is the pitching coach at MDC now. He was released in June by AA Wichita and then played out the summer in Indy ball, typically the death knell for affiliated ball players. Looks to me like he’s hung ‘em up for good just shy of his 27th. He put up very good numbers (3.45, 1.15) in his career but never got past AA.

Anthony Arguelles, who transferred to VA Tech his senior season, landed himself a FA contract with the Nationals last year. He's currently posted to their Harrisburg A affiliate.

Romy Gonzalez has flown under the radar a bit. Claimed by Red Sox from a bad White Sox team in Jan, '24. Hitting .277 w 4 steals in 47 ABs w the BoSox. He's a good athlete.

He keeps moving up and figuring things out quick at each level. He will be pitching in the big leagues next year I'd assume. Would be cool if he had been a September call up but the Indians are legit.

Nice Debut....

Herick apparently had a great debut. Likely going to be similar to Rosario if he listens and adjusts a few things.
