Need Uncle Jethro to land this kid and worry about the hardship later. Need him ASAP.

Have to like he wants to decide soon and USC doesnt have a coach for next year

or for next year yet either, deciding on 10/12/13--Like our chances

The other thing no one is talking about here is that UM admissions will never admit this kid based on his past of being a drug dealer and admitted attempted murder. If UM admissions put the last minute kibosh on DE Ernest Suttles transfer to UM, and all he was hit someone with a liquor bottle in a bar fight, do ya'll think they will admit player who admittedly shot someone three times with Mfing .44 .

If AG has trouble getting kids past Admissions with bad grades and no 1st degree felonies you can all but forget about this one unfortunately ( I agree Ed O. Is very good at developing talent as well as a evaulator), which is why I think this kids recruitment is leverage against Johnson and Pelon. But either way staff will close out the 2014 Dline class very nicely.

Disagree. There is a difference between a kid who just hit a kid with a bottle in a bar fight last year, to somebody who seems to be rehabilitated and focused on turning his life around.

Oh I know about giving 2nd chances, but does UM admissions I think not when it comes to something like that , I don't think they take that risk. Not to mention the negative recruiting would be OFF THE CHARTS, especially with recruits parents and alot will not be as understanding without having personal knowledge of Wyche an his background.

Where the **** are you getting "he shot someone 3 times"??? Paranos you are ******* clown! Jump the gun a tad uh? Go back to that dumpsterfire board called CI.

where's the story on this kid shooting someone 3 times? I didn't watch the video. but, I agree, paranos is a clown. leverage against pelon and Johnson. that's just dumb. they aren't doing that.

Supposedly he shot 3 times at some one in 9th grade. No official police report or arrest.

This dude Paranos is so **** dramatic and conjures up all these scenarios on why we offer kids. Leverage this and that. Dude just prolly sits in his basement all day with a big board of recruits on it and acts like a RC.

I think Golden has earned 3 flyers a year from the admissions department. They can't flub GPA or credits, but if the kids got the goods and its a character call, trust the Tie Donna. When he booted Eddie Johnson he proved he'd get rid of guys that can play if they aren't doin the right stuff. Sounds like this kid has turned it around. Humility is a great quality I enjoy in these interviews. The kids who talk about just being honored by an offer to play at the U are the kind of kids that bust their butts when they get here.

We need 340 of drug dealin, ****ed, moms dead dads in Jail on the D-line. And he needs the family atmosphere and academic challenge to really rise above that life and see what he can actually be. Its a win win. I feel good about this one. I think the smaller, private school, family oriented vibe is what seals the deal with him.

Oh **** no, Donna loves a redemption story. That **** is long in the past. Fail.

Why would the coaching staff go after a kid that is already committed to another school (USCw) if the only reason was to use that kid as "leverage" against Pelon and Johnson?

That makes ZERO sense

Dont try to figure it out lol it's just going to give you a headache. Since they were going after him for over a month they didnt even know Kiffen would get fired so why try this unless they want him?

I really hate to defend this guy, but here's the very first paragraph of the article:

Michael Wyche was in ninth grade the night he shot someone with three bullets fired from the chamber of his .44 Magnum. A week earlier, the situation had been reversed, and Wyche was the one being fired upon by the kid now in his crosshairs, when the kid tried to rob Wyche on the sidewalk of a public street. The bullet had hissed inches past Wyche's skull into a nearby gate, and he'd fled through a labyrinth of back alleys. It wasn't enough for him to escape just for the moment; he also had to make sure the kid didn't see where he lived.

SUPER GOON.... WANT!

still dont see how this is an issue, Gabe Terry had a criminal past, and Kevin Grooms.... they all were committed to play at Miami, and Kevin Grooms criminal history wasnt the reason he was denied admission to Miami.

Completely different scenario then a guy in Shuttles, who was only a couple of months removed from his situation, involving his own teammate. Also after Miami picked up Naim Mustafaa, they didnt need him anyway.

Let me be clear, I am in no way agreeing with paranos' position on the situation. LOL I just saw that some questioned paranos' comments about Wyche shooting a kid, and just wanted to point out that as crazy as he may be, he actually didn't make that part of his post up.

The good thing about having a kid like Michael Wyche on defense is that he will literally ******* kill you.

Paranos for some reason has a vendetta against this particular mammoth young man.

I thought he worshiped all mammoth adolescents with like fervor and enthusiasm...not so

Not reading the whole thread, but what does this mean exactly?

**Wyche sent me a message after the interview that read: “I will know for sure where I’m going by the end of the week.”

This related to USC's coaching search at all?
