Hanna Cavinder and one of their starters Karla Erjavec have been invisible all year long.
Williams has been terrible all season long. She has killed us in every game that I’ve watched her play. She makes too many bad turnovers at critical moments, and holds the ball for way too long, which makes the offense be stagnant. She is also not a good shooter.

She made a layup late yesterday, but besides that play, played really poorly again. She stunk it up in overtime.

They are not a tournament team at this moment, in my opinion.

I really thought they would have 1-2 losses in non conference. DePaul and Columbia were surprising losses. They played Michigan and Florida tight...I think Michigan just pulled away at the end from what I remember.

They had the recent Florida game easily won in regulation with just medium level play. It would have been a signature win over 10-1 rival Gatorz. They blew 3-4 crucial final minute things, effectively choking bigtime, like 0 for 2 FTs by a 69% FT shooter. Had chances in the OT too, but it should never have happened. Agree with all said above in thread.

If L was somehow to get to a Final Four before he retires then I think you gotta at least name our court after him. I know some "blueboods" would laugh at that standard but when one considers the entire history of the hoops program and how L basically had to hire himself here then it would easily be deserved.

UCONN has been the best team in the Nation thus far this season IMO, they’re the only team that has looked absolutely flawless in every game they’ve played.

Obviously they haven’t played a SOS as good as Gonzaga’s, Kansas or Tennessee, but they have 2 really good wins against Bama & Iowa ST beating both teams by 18 & 15 points. They’ll likely run the table in the Big East with only maybe ST. Johns & Marquette giving them tough fights, but they’re looking like a shoo-in Final Four team this year.

Purdue at #1 has more to do with their namesake reputation more than anything imo, they had great games against the Zags & Duke, but had close games against Marquette & Nebraska & even god awful FSU gave’em a fight; they haven’t looked like the #1 ranked team in the country IMO.

UVA is the toughest team to judge because of their style of play they’re pretty much going to have a close game with nearly everyone they play even if they’re head & shoulders better than them, because they’re a Boa Constrictor & they can only win by strangling their opponents to Death; every possession in a UVA game is a War of attrition lol.

Kansas (except for the TENN game) has looked really really good this season as well, like Defending Champs good.

And I feel the same for Arizona, they’re an Elite 8/F4 team IMO, they can score with anyone.

I actually don’t mind pack starting slow. Better than peaking in December in my mind lol
