Full participation in practice by the entire roster. No red or yellow jerseys.

Walt Tucker No.44 is practicing at RB for the first time (that I have seen) true frosh out of American Heritage Plantation, Fla.

It was nice knowing ya Danny Dillard... Doesn't seem like he is stepping up if they had Tucker at LB and then moved to RB. I remember reading Golden saying the big backs still need to step up. Either that or Tucker wasn't cutting it at LB.

Dillard runs like he got home past curfew and is trying not to wake his parents up. I expected Gus to grab the #2 spot, but 44 there is interesting as well. I don't know where he ends up but that's a lot of body moving very fast. If he ever learns a position it'll be fun to watch.

Was skeptical of the Dilliard signing since day one. His tape showed a kid who was simply getting by on being bigger and faster than everybody. A little back mentality stuck inside a big backs body. Hopefully he'll wake up one day and realize that he's huge.

He's only 220 or so, not that huge. Tall, but not big.

  • A select group of players had to run sprints before the Sunday/Monday practices due to poor effort plays in the Friday scrimmage
  • Golden says you can during the game and give 100% or you can have loaf plays and run on your own time
  • Golden says that is the standard the guys want and we will hold them to it
  • Fall camp will wrap on Tuesday and FAU prep starts on Wednesday
  • Depth chart will be worked on once FAU prep begins
  • Golden says there is a depth chart they have once camp breaks, then 50% of that will be settled in the next 6-7 practices
  • Golden on Stacy Coley: says he's a freshman who is still a long ways away from playing the whole game or being the guy, but he is talented
  • Says Coley doesn't have a lot of mental errors, shows a willingness to block even though he doesn't have the strength levels
  • Black jerseys on Monday: Green, Pierre, Perryman, Gaines, Gunter, Howard, Jenkins, O'Donnell
  • Waters, Hurns, Dorsett, Johnson, Crawford wore 1st team jerseys on offense
  • Golden on Mo Hagens: says he's a really talented FB...says he's under the radar as far as recognition goes...says he's very unselfish and does everything he's asked to do

O'Donnell with a black jersey? The punter or former DE? I'm guessing the punter.

220lbs is very big for a college running back especially when you are only a redshirt freshman, his mentality is what he has to work through right now. He's not the best talent in the back field so he needs to become tougher... who knows how he'll be as he continues to develop. I dont expect him to really contribute until his redshirt junior or senior year.

Walter Tucker could become a FB.... he already has the LB mentality so he could develop into a solid blocker, and his athleticism can make him an xtra weapon down the line.

I've given up on Dillard. You really can't teach someone to run like Marshawn Lynch or any other great power back. He's naturally timid.

he got his bell rung at Naples in the spring game and hurt his shoulder..he might be be thinking about the game too much....I agree it was his to take.
