Camp Notes Day #6

in a couple of the plays of the day so far, i noticed tracy howard. also, noticed crawford. i would be surprised if they both pass gunter.

I was thinking the same thing, Howard & Crawford have been making a lot of plays out there. I hope your right because Crawford looks like a beast right now.

They've been making a lot of plays because they're fighting for that number 2 corner spot. Gunter has his spot locked.

Tracy Howard is scary talented....once he GETS it..we have a ACC guy....he is that good.

#67- Corey King is not MIAMI caliber. In every play, i see this kid getting pushed back at least 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. OMG.. its bad .

Crazy thing is he is the strongest guy on the team weight room wise. No idea why he can't translate that on the field.

Might have something to do with the fact he is an underclassman interior defensive lineman, but what do I know?

ill dance like jethro when he starts landing some solid DT's

You mean like Stuckey and Valentine?

LOL All he did was say you have an offer and Stuckey committed. Anyone on this board could have gotten Stuckey. And Jethro had nothing to do with Valentine. Hurlie Brown and Paul Williams were his recruiters. When he committed he mentioned everyone but Jethro.

"I told Hurlie Brown I was committing and he was excited. But he had to call Coach [Al] Golden because he was on vacation. When Coach Golden got on the phone he was fired up," Valentine said. "Then Coach [Mark] D'Onofrio and Coach [Paul] Williams got on the phone and they were fired up, too."

I don't expect him to be dominate at this stage but his strength should at least show up on the field and it doesn't.

Chick in the shorts that walks in at the 26 sec mark in the jethro vid would get it. She walking bow-legged like she either gotta take a massive one or she got it in with one of the lbs right before practice.

Who wins a hot dog eating contest between **** Navarro and this dude?

Their respective cardiologists.

If my nut sack could talk this is what it would probably look like (minus the drool on it's lips at the 3:25 mark)

If that's what your ******* looks like, you might want to get checked for a hydrocele.

why would gunter have his spot locked up? i mean, did he came back as patrick peterson or something?

Yeah, like not a "C-USA" or "Sun Belt guy"

You do realize, right, that Jethro is not assigned as the main recruiter for every defensive lineman on our board? If we miss on a lineman, it's Jethro's fault. If we hit on a lineman, it's because of everyone but Jethro (based on a quote from a recruiting site, mind you). And let's not give the man any credit for the treasure trove of ends we've brought in over the last 2 classes -- that was all Jed Fisch. Got it.

He's got a great bench press because his arms are so short he needs a back scratcher to wipe his ***. His other numbers, which are a better measure of explosive and functional football strength, are not at the top of the weight room charts at all. Give him some time. It's unfair to judge DTs until they've been in the program at least 3 years.
