miami has definitely promoted cam

A couple of videos is nice, but doesn't remotely compare to what other schools have done in the past. See Skyman's post above. Just because Miami has done more for Cam than any other Miami player in the past means very little. Social media wasn't even a thing the last time we had a Heisman type candidate.

I was ******* TIGHT at the stadium yesterday.. NO TYPE OF HEISMAN PROMO.. Where the **** was the students with Heisman signs and ****.. WTFFFFFF are we doin?

I knew we were in trouble when Travis on his bye week odds went up because he was on promo tour on morning shows before game.. it sucks how we don't acknowledge past a video or two..
i've seen heisman posters before, but it is disappointing there weren't any on his senior day ... that being said miami has definitely done it's part and if we win next week, he'll have plenty of press

Sorry, but it will be an extreme upset at this point if it isn't Hunter. Kudos to the Colorado Heisman marketers. A true 2-way player (more than Charles Woodson) who puts up great stats at both positions. Bad timing for Cam and the Canes. This may be the last time we see a 2-way player. Of course, I thought the same thing about Charles Woodson 25 years ago.
Average stats playing both positions… he wouldn’t win the Biletnikoff or Thorpe award

His most impressive stat on his Heisman stats is snap count on a 3 loss team with another top 5 pick at QB.

#7 in receiving yards, #5 in receptions, #3 in receiving TDs on the offensive side of the ball. Not good enough to win the Biletnikoff Award, but seems to be far above average to me.

#17 in passes defensed and #36 in INTs - agreed average.

I still think the novelty of being a 2 way player, a Top 10 draft prospect, and with the amount of media coverage Colorado gets will put him over the top. We'll see in 3 weeks. Hopefully Cam puts up some big time numbers over the next 2 weeks for big wins.

I don't think Jeanty should win, but these stats from Hunter do not align with the media hype. He's obviously talented, but that doesn't mean he should be guaranteed the Heisman.

I agree with you, that's how it SHOULD be, but I just see it going to Hunter because of the novelty of being a 2-way player who actually puts up stats at both positions and the media overhype for all things Colorado because of the "Primetime" effect. Bad timing for Cam unfortunately as he has had an amazing season and is worthy of it. I hope I'm wrong.
Hunter is a lock.

I just don’t see it he plays two positions that historically don’t win the heisman in WR and DB. What’s great for cam is he’s played on both coasts including a heisman like comeback for all the west coast voters to see in prime time

Hunter is an amazing player.. but I think he finishes 3rd. This is a Jeantry/Cam finish with both dudes having amazing seasons
