cam ward is about to throw for 4k

Sorry, but it will be an extreme upset at this point if it isn't Hunter. Kudos to the Colorado Heisman marketers. A true 2-way player (more than Charles Woodson) who puts up great stats at both positions. Bad timing for Cam and the Canes. This may be the last time we see a 2-way player. Of course, I thought the same thing about Charles Woodson 25 years ago.

A shame the Heisman isn’t selected after the Bowls and Playoffs. I still think a great performance by Cam over the next two games places him at 1 or 2 vs Hunter. Can’t see an RB getting picked.

I agree. Cam losing to Hunter is acceptable but this Jeanty kid is a media hype product. I'd rather have Lyle or the Hampton kid from NC over Jeanty, who is beating up on the equivalent of high school kids weekly. He played 2-8 Wyoming last night. Like seriously? He will be exposed in the playoff when he plays a defense with comparable talent that has tape on him. He won't catch anyone sleeping like Oregon in week one again.

Charles Woodson's team didn't have 3 losses at this point.

Can needed to have better games against GT and WF. He wasn’t bad, but with all the Jeanty and Hunter hype + us taking the L and playing not-so-great comp, he had a chance to make a move with a couple 350-400 and 3+ TD games.

It was there for the taking. Unfortunately bad timing for him to have a couple “off” games. Add in the bye week and he fell off.

Not a huge bias guy, but for sure if he had a G or A on the side of his helmet he’d have a better chance because the media would pump him more.

There are lots of QBs who throw for 4K yards in a season. What Travis Hunter is doing is once in an every 20 years type of stuff. He’s going to be a 1000+ 10TD+ WR who’s also likely going to win the Jim Thorpe Award as the best DB in the country. Travis would be a Top 10 Pick as a CB or a WR. In most seasons, Cam would probably win the Heisman, but this season is an extremely rare occurrence.

Personally, I don't think it matters. It's a vote for best college player, not best player on the best team. Lamar Jackson, Tim Tebow, RGIII, and Ricky Williams all won the Heisman with 3 regular season losses.

A once in a generation (perhaps the last) 2-way player, who is a full-time 2-way player not a part-timer like Woodson, and at a school that gets at least twice the media coverage they would normally get because of their coach will more than likely get the lazy media vote. We'll see.

Propaganda is in full swing. The sec/espn media machine has the power.
Now a 3 loss Bama team can get in just like they got in last year as they fisted fsu.

We have to win the acccg or they’ll Epstein all the reasons why we aren’t in the top 12.

So if I have it right, Cam is now the Miami single season record holder in:

Passing Yards
Completions
Passing Touchdowns
Total Yards
Total Touchdowns

Do I have that right? Because I haven’t seen **** from the school’s social media other than a post about him setting the passing yardage record.

Troy Smith may disagree

If I’m a heisman voter it’s simple if Miami wins out. This Miami team would probably be 7-5 without Cam Ward, he deserves the heisman

**** Hunter.

Ward is the best player in the country and a future top 5 pick.

Our offense hasn’t been this good since our last title team years. The guy came here and has done this while being in the program ONE YEAR only.

And to think he’s really just keeping Emory’s seat warm while he fully heels.

Incredible session Cam has brought us.

it's been a debate with friends, but the mvp of travis hunter is deion sanders as he allowed him to play both ways to recruit him to colorado, there are those type of players on every major college team, however their coach won't allow them to play both ways ... not taking anything away from hunter, but these are facts ... also, let's stop acting like he shut down (not you personally)

Hunter is the goods

BUTTTTTTTT i walk it back because there is only one coach that allows him to do what he does and a qb that throws him the ball and its the Sanders. Its pre generated. Colorado realy doesnt even need him full time at wr because they actually have a good room but thats the selling point n promotions of deion..

What i want to know is why we didnt start our promotion of cam a while back.
