I mean you have to be a special kind of dumbass to not read what happened today. They wanted to get Cam the record and he got it in the first half.

Second half was to be turned over to Emory to get him experience for next season and not burn his redshirt. No explanation for how terrible Emory was today.

It won't last long at all. Also, Cam was screwed (from a media bashing perspective) whether he played or not. If he played the entire game, it would've been some BS, if he would've played the entire game and lost it would've been even worse. If he would've opted out people would be saying the same thing as they are now about "how can he sit and watch his team lose?"

It was a lose lose because he was at Miami. Any other team and he gets half of the BS and 2x the praise.

Sorry but when you’re getting paid there’s no “opting out”. How many NFL players are “opting out” today? NIL changes everything and it’s time to shut up, suit up and take responsibility in the bowl game. Had the Canes been in the playoffs would he just have taken off the 2nd half of the game as well? A ton. It's the final week of the season and the playoff teams are resting starters. Players opt out to preserve their bodies from injuries. Happens all the ******* time.

Mario was in on benching Cam Ward, the same dude who refused to be benched in decided games. Y'all just hate people.

Yes they’re resting starters because they already have their playoff place secured.

Certainly not a hater but anyone who thought that Cam standing on the sideline with the TV camera on him the whole second half was a good look might want to think again. If he was only playing a half why didn’t Mario say so? If he was only playing a half to SET A RECORD man up and say so. Weasel words because UM wanted to sell tickets.

Chuba Hubbard is out for the season, Carolina got nothing to play for and he opted out. Nobody goes after him.

****, the fins are releasing Campbell once they get eliminated from the playoffs so he can sign with a playoff team. its done in the NFL too.

nah you guys would have killed him then too just as you slammed X. he was in a no win spot caused by his coaches presser post game. you would have killed Mario had he stayed and got hurt too. he wasnt going to win bc fans are selfish.
 
I don’t like it. X either. They were both paid a lot of money this year and should’ve seen it through. There’s insurance policies for the very small risk of injury. You can’t have it both ways , either you’re a professional getting paid or you aren’t. Props to Sanders and Hunter.

I can think of a couple hundred million reasons to sit out the second half. Cashed in his lottery ticket at the half smart move. Or risk injury. Cam did whats best for Cam.
 
Cam Ward did us a favor, to think we had rosy comments coming out about Emory and how the team loves him...

Now there is no doubt that a portal QB is the only option. It’s also pretty clear that Luke beats this guy out in the very first practice.
