Cam opt out?

I don’t like it. X either. They were both paid a lot of money this year and should’ve seen it through. There’s insurance policies for the very small risk of injury. You can’t have it both ways , either you’re a professional getting paid or you aren’t. Props to Sanders and Hunter.
Exactly 💯

These talking heads are insufferable. Some of these people in the media probably barely paid any attention to Miami all year.
Never ceases to amaze me there are actually as many of these talking heads drawing a paycheck and they believe what they say or write matters to anyone but themselves.

Mario really needs to make it Clear that Cam didn't opt out 2nd half and they wanted for some reason to throw emory out there n lose the game on purpose. Cause cam is getting a lot of hate right now on social media that he quit on his team smh . worst ending ever from a 10 win team

No offense, why is that on Cristobal?

Ward has a voice and social media—if he wants to explain what he did by opting in and sitting the second half—he's a big boy. Have at it.

He either played that first half for money or part of an NIL deal—having to "participate" in a postseason game—or he wanted to play a half to throw a few touchdowns and break Keenum's record and once he had three, he was happy to tap out.

You really think Mario wanted to sit him the entire second half and to have to listen to grief for losing three of the final four and how this season ended?

Could've easily gotten Williams some reps and then reinserted Ward in the second half when 17 was faltering.

Ward wasn't going back in that game, so again, stop asking coaches to run cover or explained what happened. Let 1 lean in and explain why he chose to opt in and then pull out of the game at halftime, for good.

And for what it's worth, he should've opted out the minute Miami didn't get into the CFP as there was zero reason to participate in some corny second-tier bowl game ... but if you're gonna opt in, then play the game, or opt out and go on your way. This middle of the road thing is why there's so much pushback and frustration. Make a decision and live with it.

“This was our plan all along.”

Say 6 words and it’s over. After that Mario can go into his shell and say the reasons behind the decisions are private if pressed. He’s then done his part to protect the player and the program. Nobody deserves specifics but if it was truly the plan there is no harm in saying that. He can own it as well.

Mario is a clown for this ****.. literally could have stop all this bs from happening.

Dude isn’t a real leader and we dam sure know he has no business being a HC.

Cam don’t deserve this ****.

So the goal was a proof of concept for Cam to ball out and be a top Heisman and NFL pick

We accomplished that and are so inept as a program that we somehow are finding a way to **** it up?

Boy that takes talent
