How about after we scored to make the deficit 17, Mendoza is cooking us, & for some inexplicable reason, Wilcox changes QB as Cal is driving for another score, halting not only momentum, but killing Mendoza’s rhythm. Instead of u scoring a TD to go up 24, u kick a FG to go up 20.

How about u gave up several 4th down conversions extending our drives.

How about ur CB misplayed a tipped ball for an int that would’ve killed the game.

How about u gave up a 70 yrd run & catch to our #1 WR when we were pinned at our 7 yrd line late in the 4th.

How about u gave up a 3rd & 20 to a wide open RB on a check down play.

How about u blew ur T.O’s trying to realign ur defense, only to give up key conversions.

When fans try to blame ONE play for a L, they r being disingenuous and shifting blame. If u’re relying upon the refs, that’s a bad game plan. VT fans can bytch (& I have no idea y) about the end of their game, but the fact is ur coach gifted us at a min. 6 extra points by not kick a FG late in the game, & squib kicking it, giving us great field position to score 3 points going into half time.

Blame ur coaches for these bone headed decisions, not the refs, & I said that against GT, too. It’s bull ****; we won, & took their souls.

Missed calls all game, even so I think it ended up pretty even-sided. But none of those calls down the stretch were egregious like that fumble. But I completely get where you're coming from.

Outside of rock concerts in the 80’s, I’ve never smelled so much weed in my life in a public place and I’m talking from the moment I walked off the train, walking through Berkeley downtown and campus and into and including inside the stadium. I mean I was eating inside a joint downtown and weed was in the air. I was watching the game high off second hand smoke. These Berkeley people are serious potheads. Like way worse than me.

No, nothing was more egregious than not kneeling; just like nothing was more egregious than blowing a Falcon-like lead in the Super Bowl. U can’t blame refs for coaches putting their own teams in perilous situations.

Bro all my salty non-Cane fans whining since last night. Get ****ed. We’ve been absolutely screwed by the ACC and officials at minimum egregiously since Terry Porter. We get a couple of ticky tack ones go our way and all of a suddenly it’s rigged for Miami. An entire season leading the league in TFLs and no holding calls? Yeah, I couldn’t give less of a ****. I’m here for the tears. Sodium intake has been too low.

just ask the idiots who post that image which penalty they think is more serious and should be called 100% of the time when they happen on the same play- an OL blocking downfield which could potentially be a penalty if he is not engaged in a block, or a facemask where a QB is getting his neck cranked 270 degrees.

I keep hearing people here saying Ott was out of bounds on the long TD run. Is this really a thing? Iirc they never showed the sideline angle. Looked close but I didn’t think back to that call to say he was definitely OOBs. Was there another angle that wasn’t shown during the broadcast?

Yeah, really...were the expectations among Cal fans that high for this season? Were they expecting to just run through the ACC into the championship game? If that's what they were thinking...they really have no idea how this conference works.
