We've haven't had a stretch like this in a long, long time. There's been one class here and there, but every other coach has followed that up with absolute stinkers.

facts

Never brought follow up classes to challenge the kids from the previous class, and also help them getting guys to play beside them. The roster was always unbalanced and poorly put together

No he won’t lol. The OSU class is insane and Alabama’s leading for like 3 more 5 stars. To me if he can get the 4th place it would be beyond impressive given how Bama, OSU, Oregon, UGA, and TX are recruiting

Recruiting is the wake left behind. Our season this year will be the boat. The size of the wake will be determined by how big our season is (size of the boat). Alabama and OSU have been the elite of the elite the past 15, plus UGA slightly more recent, or so years and kids were getting paid under the table.

Mario has been recruiting the way he has with top notch NIL and selling a vision of where he’s taking the program. Maybe not this year, but if he has an amazing season, we’ll have another top 5 class and top 1-2 classes will be in slapping distance every year from here on out.

The program Mario inherited was not in the same state as what Day inherited from Urban, what Kirby inherited from Richt, or even what Lanning inherited from Mario. Much more similar to Clemson and Michigan.

Pickett would sting but it’s the same thing for Iowa when we land a D lineman that’s father and brothers went to Iowa. Or Stubbs father being a Nole. The upsetting part is losing a position of need and I would include myself in the posts from those that are upset or annoyed. You can’t count Miami out until the ink dries. Doesn’t matter how many wins Oregon gets. I do think it’s fair for recruits this year to expect a ten plus win season though. And that will help with a kid who at the end of the day I can’t see leaving for Oregon.

Yes! But we are right up there with those guys in recruiting. And that makes me happy as a fan. For as many of us that look at the schools you mentioned tons of other schools are worried about us on the trail. And you can find DBs in the portal. But we have to close strong and will.

Mario’s done an excellent job in recruiting. Lanning looks like a massive home run hire. Everything is rolling there - recruiting, wins, NIL….

It’ll be an impressive pull to flip a kid from Oregon right now, if that’s what it comes down to.

At the end of the day RVA, look at the Antione thread! FSU is paranoid that the kid was on campus and showing off our colors. I’ve waited 20 years for this kind of hate. I love that radio guys are freaking out even though everyone pays players but Miami is so it’s wrong.

Lanning is a good recruiter and coach. He still has to win something but he’s been tough to recruit against from Texas on over to Cali. But Picket is a Florida boy. And Mario will be relentless. Everyone was freaking out over FSU with J Smith. And the school of an average year where the head coach ruined the season was …….Mario. He almost had the kid. And we will get more kids when we win this year.

these arent texas or cali kids with history of going to OU...i he commits now rest assured his flip wouldnt be close to what we have done so far in this class if we have a good szn.
