**** you rumph
Yes Henderson has elite speed for his height and could eventually turn into an elite CB down the road, but we need CBs that have played the position for more than a year and that can possibly contribute next year since we lose Elder and Colbert.
I would really like to try to get back into the mix with that JUCO CB that committed to Bama (I think his name was Dean) and lay out our CB situation versus theirs, since you know that JUCO kids care most about immediate playing time.
Also need to turn the heat back up with Brini again.
****, if we keep playing well and beat F$U and UNC then we might really pick up steam and may have a shot at an elite CB that was never on our radar before.
So if Henderson wants to go be a ****, no big deal.
By the time he ever turns into a special CB in college(if it ever happens) we will already have some of those 2018 CBs on roster and he doesn't touch those kids, so I'm not too worried about losing Henderson.
Kid seems soft anyways and perfect for the Gators.
Bet they make him play offense after selling CB to him (which may actually work out in his favor since he is very raw at CB).
I would absolutely trade Henderson for Dean any day, but according to Pete they're not looking at JUCO sadly.
No matter how you slice it, it's alarming that we went head-to-head with Florida for 3 top local CB talents (Henderson, Wilson, Davis) and they're all heading to Gainesville. 2 already committed there and Henderson is now out of our class.
Plenty of posters knocked Brini when he tossed out a verbal to UGA, calling him soft, unathletic, and overrated. That type of player doesn't vill the void left by an elite athlete with massive upside like Henderson.
Dominating the month of October on the field would open the floodgates and allow us to enter the picture for some premier corners not even being talked about right now. The results on the trail at this position have to be far better with the current product we're putting on the field and the woeful state of our CB depth chart next season.
Come on man. Please stop with all this the world is gonna end stuff! We crack on players for being too soft & doing something but listen to us as a fan base everytime something happens that we don't like. It's the epitome of a soft fan base... What pray tell makes Henderson a MASSIVE talent as you call him? Guys be real,if he wasn't fast none of us would care. You'd call him another one of also projects. He's not playing offense. All we know he has is speed & length. I'm sorry but that doesn't equate to massive upside
He gone.
thats what I'm thinking . . .
team I'm committed to finally hits number 10 in polls, has a primetime game on national tv, facing arch rival, and I'm going to Canesville for game against lsu?
Yea I don't get it either. Idk what UF could be selling him other than PT.
After losing Byrd, we have failed to land three guys we clearly wanted badly from Miami Southridge, Miami Columbus, and American Heritage to the University of Florida - which happens to look like a total dumpster fire this year. Some of the people who expressed concern over Henderson's commitment are already talking about Jobe, too. There's a very serious problem with our recruiting of the CB position, and we better stop saying "we'll get em next year". We seem to be doing pretty **** well at every other position besides maybe OL. We got some ostriches on the board.
The thought of Brini filling the void left by Henderson is laughable. Many on this board crapped all over this kid as a player when he chose UGA over Miami, saying he's unathletic, slow, soft, has limited upside, and only brings height/length.
On the subject of Collier, he looks talented and has great size. Seems underrated. But if we continue exceeding expectations on the field and have a woeful 2017 CB depth chart to appeal to those seeking early playing time, why are we competing with Paul Williams at Illinois for CB recruits? Especially when we should be reaping the benefits of the new staff's first full-year recruiting bump.
Well sucks because he has elite athleticism, but it's on to another option. Keep in mind that 2018 is loaded.
And T Byrd didn't matter because 2017 was loaded.
Any UM defensive commit who bolts after everything that is surrounding our program right now...just doesnt want to be here. You could offer him a duffle bag and he would turn it down. We are 4-0....we are ranked #1 0 ...our defense looks LIGHTS OUT...we have a great scheme...our pass defense is #1 in the COUNTRY...our overall defense is top 10...we look like we are having fun...what more do you want? Let him go. Good the *****-bye..Let Brini or Collier in and lock it up.
Read on another website that CJ Henderson is a de-commit
I just heard an interesting take on what's going on here. We have to remember this teenage kid has never before really played corner. It's something that's brand new to him & he seems to still be really uncomfortable with. That being said he sees what we're bringing in already & knows the direction were heading with future recruits. Another words he lacks the confidence to know that he'll be able to start at corner & carve a future out for himself when we're lining up studs at that position 2 deep already. So he's trigger shy against them goons. It's not at all his relationship with bandy or baez or anyone else. It's a lack of confidence. If we really want him we might be best served by telling him well put him on offense & special teams.
UF already has like 3 other corners coming in for his class. Not buying that. Just sounds like Shannon swayed the dad.
#1 UF has nothing to do with this. #2 UF has been selling him on playing both sides of the ball primarily offense

Our CB recruiting is so bad we can't even get the ultimate Canes legacy to make a public commitment. Al's up there in heaven grinding his **** teeth over this ****.
